We announced that Colombian kid today didn't we? Less than 5m. On loan.

Don't you mean that Columbiano kid?
No. That's how you spell it.
There is no translation.
It's pronounced "ko-LOAM-byeh"

we can just hope they sell Isco this week and raise some cash. they're selling Jese too. those 2 combined won't come close to 120m but it'll soften the blow.

Outlay on nearly £1/4 billion (including wages) for a player they let go for next to nothing. As shocking as it is humiliating.

For nowhere near that price.
Is this lad a game changer, is he the new Messi, Tranny, Bale etc? No,he isn't the real deal yet so it says the Rags have signed just to be relevant. They have been given en targets and players to ensure their lucrative deals, nothing more.

What I cannot understand is why Pogba would join the Rags? Now?
Why not wait a year, see how the Rags 'develope', play CL this year with a good chance of winning, etc...
Particularly, as the PL will be so competitive, Rags or any of the top 7 sides could fail miserably.
It has to be motivated by money or else he is brain dead.

Presume his agent wanted the £20+m as a bung (what other way us there to describe it) and Informed Pogba his future would be better suited elsewhere. As Pogba hangs on his agents word, (according to Bacon anyway) he also saw the pound signs and thought why not

Even though I suggested he might choose to stay a year as well, thing is no Ibra next year, so harder to find a striker of his class, and experience even if they have the messiah of English football in Rashford.
His ambition might also translate into being "the man" as in he wants to be the best name player. Will have one season with Ibra to bed in, and then next year he'll be used to things and ready to "break out" as a superstar, if he does not completely do so this. Surely that will be the way the media will talk about him going into next season.

At just 113 million, what a bargain! No way on earth would anybody who isn't desperate pay that kind of money unless you are trying to restore some pride. A real vanity purchase, used to appease their sponsors.
The Old Lady must be laughing her tits off with this deal.
Tell me again, who were the other bidders to get the price so high.
Ps. Note the price seems be coming down by the hour. Pretty soon he'll have cost them nothing rather than the outrageous price they paid. Contrast that to how our 100 mil has been reported, as if the 5 players equates to us buying the league; again!

Steady on NB, you're coming dangerously close to saying he's no more than a mercenary.
