Nasri was £25 million!
It does seem pricey for Gungodan but the closer his contract end is then the more suitors will be sniffing about so we pay inflated price to stave off other interested clubs.
Is this lad any good anybody know? What does he do well?

Gundogan's a classy box to box midfielder. Can play defensive midfield if needed. He's class. I'd rather have Pogba unless we get both.

If Pep rates him, he must be good. Pogba to Barca seemed a done deal last year.

You would take this German dude instead of Pogba? Really? Alright. Thanks for playing.
In other news, who is this other midfielder for Bayer Leverkeusen....Kevin Kampl? I dunno what nationality he is...is he actually German? but anyone who watches the Bundesliga feel he is or could be better than Gudogan?
cheers

Hei is Slovenian and also is/was the subject of the weirdest transfer in Germany in the past ten years.
Klopp did everything in his power to sign him last winter, he did, he played almost every game, Klopp left, the new manager came and sold him for just 7 mil after they paid, 12 or 14, cannot remember. Very inconsistent and bad on the back.
A shittier Navas.

Gareth Bale is set to snub a contract extension at Real Madrid, which has alerted both Manchester United and Man City, paving the way for a transfer tug-of-war this summer, according to Tuttomercatoweb (via The Sun).
Bale has enjoyed a bounceback season in La Liga, and Los Merengues hope the Welshman will pen a new deal until 2021, but the former Spurs star is tempted by a return to the Premier League. The 26-year-old could now be the prime target for both Pep Guardiola and Jose Mourinho, should the latter replace Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford this summer.

He'd smash it at ours.

Imagine Bale on the left, Sterling on the right and KDB through the middle. Kun just hoovering up the chances up top. Pace that would scare any defence

we'd have to play with 3 bald, defensive midfielders maybe. But it does sound slightly mouth watering.
cheers

The squad needs a player who can start attacks from a deep-lying, central position. Gundogan provides that and Pogba doesn't. Plus Gundogan can play further up the pitch in an attacking role. Pogba is most effect out on the left in a forward role. In other words, Gundogan is a better fit as a replacement for Yaya than is Pogba.

See we're linked with busquets as well thos morning - think him and gundogan would be a great midfield pairing - need a stronger set of defenders behind them though
