I assumed it was because he wanted to get the ball out of the goal quickly but couldn't because of Gareth Thomas or James Collins. I can't tell the difference between them.

I've just seen it on the BBC news. That's exactly what it was. He pushed him into the net.

Well,

I would have hauled Silva off after 20 mins today, he was utter utter shite and needs a massive kick up the arse.

Hart needs a real roasting for the second goal , how the fcuk he can stay on his line seeing a throw in, with a bouncing ball coming into the area
and do nothing beggars belief !
Absolute dross which proves once again he cannot read the game. FFS all he has to do is be awake !

They were average and got two lucky goals and we are playing... well i am not sure, it certainly isn't pretty .

As for bringing Sterling on ! my oh my. what a waste of money.

I don't want to think to much about it because it could all just be a risky, but cunning plan to togger Scouse 1 next Wednesday.

And your point is ?

Positions change every week. We are still in with a great chance to win 4 competitions. and it is almost February.

Wait until we get the Rags at home, Arse at home , Leicester at home. Spuds at home, see how it looks then.

"I really think we will get no where until reputations go out the window and we have a manager that will pick players on form."

in a nutshell. What ever we win I'll be glad to see the back of Pellers now. No planning, no edge, too ya ya infatuated. Its getting a bit boring.

We don't have a "great chance" of winning 4 competitions. I like your optimism, but have you seen us play this season? We are not good enough.

Er, yes we do. We have a great chance to win all four. If it doesn't happen , so what ? but , with the resources and quality we have , we most certainly do have a great chance.

Lot's on here going on about Yaya today , but he was tracking back a lot today, made some very good , timely tackles in our own box in the second half.

Tell me anything that Silva did today , except give the ball away and couldn't be arsed to run at all ?

Got to say agree with that
Obviously Toure looked pathetic for their first goal but he contributed far more than silva, de Bruyne and navas to name three.
Thought sterling also was shocking when he came on... he needs take a man on more often

Is it just me or does every one of our attacking players always look like their on their heels when a ball is played forward. They always look reactive as opposed to pro active, hence we always look one step behind the opposition.
It seems to happen every game recently and I just can't see how the management don't see this when they analyse our performances and sit individuals down to improve on this.
Every game it seems like an ongoing theme that no one wants to take the game by the scruff and really put down their mark to push others when things aren't going our way.
Although tonight was a good point... But still frustrated that we could've and should've had more with all our potential.

Not a bad point for me and we have gone above Arsenal and put pressure on them for there game tomorrow . 2 things really concern me though ..........

1, What the fuck has happened to Silva,s form ???? he looks a shadow of his usual self of late !!!

2, Leicester , yes Leicester would have won that game at Upton Park tonight by just being clinical .
Not really here

A lot of bullshit on display today.

Silva was antimagical as fuck. Yaya ended better than he started but considering how he started, well, you know the rest.

Defensively we're shit.

Joe saved our asses a bunch today. He and Kun got us a point when we deserved none.

Sadly we need 3 if we want to win the league from matches like this.

Fuck off Pellers. It's all down to you imho.

Cheers

Actually the full backs played ok. Martin is probably the most naturally talented centre back we have but his legs are clearly going. Otamendi; what on earth can one say? He plays really well and then a moment of utter shite. What was he thinking of for the second goal? On occasion he's so easily bundled off the ball. No good looking macho walk the fucking the walk. Yaya and Delph in central midfield? Are you fucking joking Pellegrini? Unfortunately Silva and de Bruyne just aren't clicking either. Silva was pretty shite tbf.

Bright spots? Joe with one or two great saves. The full backs as above. Fabian and Navas worked hard. And then we have Sergio fit and firing and Kelechi who looked good the moment he came on.

Yaya rubbish again and Otamendi remains a liability. KDB and Silva were poor too.

Only positive was Aguero scoring again. If we win anything this season, it will be down to him.

Oh...and Nacho looked good again. We were far more threatening when he was partnered with Aguero.

I'd trade the Otter for Ashley Williams or any standard mid-table PL player any day of the week. If we needed an immediate solution and foreign defenders usually take a year to settle in, why not just get a some average British bloke. Would be better than this soft hipster midget.

Agree that Nacho looked good, and Pellers needs to go back to playing 2 up top. We look like a different team when we have 2 strikers and it's how we won the league.

But too many limp performances. Players need to get some balls away from home if were going to do anything this year.
