I see this morning that Trevor Brooking has said that City and Chelsea are stunting England's future by 'hoarding top talent' without the intention of playing them and uses Patrick Roberts and Ruben Loftus-Cheek as examples.
Not sure what the motive is for such a statement. To put kids off coming to City or Chelsea in the future?
Such weird timing as well after we've just opened a state of art academy.
Did I read recently that more English players have won trophies at City than any other club over the last few years?

Like many people who are in the media he is just talking from perception, without actually knowing the facts. We know it's bollox, but all other fans etc will just assume he is right.

As boring as they come. Is he still employed by the FA? Has done little to nothing to improve things at his own club as far as I can see so he should perhaps keep counsel on other clubs dealings
