Shouldn't look in the mirror. They are reporting Silva may be out for some time.

Is that the latest? I didn't expect him for Chelsea but I was hoping Kiev. It's over 2 weeks away.

Nothing official though

I heard a journalist, perhaps mistakenly, on yesterday's Football Weekly Podcast say that Navas is out for the season.

I hope that was mis-said.

donkey fetus or good spanish drug cheats? I hope the fucking latter. We need some serious fucking HGH and Steroids and blood doping to get this season back on track.

Cannot wait until we get Pep and his intergalactic healing methods and physio shit in house so that we can be less injurious. We need it. Badly.

cheers

True but that's besides the point. Mr. Merchant reckons Pep has some sort of magic healing spell or some such, the recent evidence doesnt back that up.

Well both Alaba and Robben played in last night's German cup win so those reports must be old ones.

The German authorities probably aren't quite as bent and prepared to look the other way as those in Spain?

They are mate, I used them three examples because they show over the last couple of seasons Bayern have struggled with keeping their squad fit.

A poster on BM Bluwhit, a friend of Silva said he sat with Navas on Saturday in Silva's box. Navas told him 2 weeks apparently. His post:

"Once again today I was invited to watch the game from the box of my friend and in the company of Jesus.
The result was poor and so too was the weather.
Then I come home, log on & read such absolute garbage about my friend.
Well listen up because I will only say this once...
David has been playing injured.
Do you get what that means??
He's playing with pain for the team and for the fans.
Do you get what that means??
He is jeopardising his place in the national team for the Euros by doing so.
Do you get what that means??
Well enough is enough, so, at 5pm he took a jet to Vigo, Spain to meet up with the national doctor to look at his ankle.
MP talks in riddles, anyone would think he got injured today, he didn't as I said he's been playing injured for what, about 10 weeks.
As for will Pep want to keep him.. really??!
Pep will love David.
Those of you slagging off the best player ever to play for your club (Colin Bell's opinion) know nothing about football.
The first thing Pep will ask to be done is to bomb Yaya out & go from there.
For those interested Jesus said 2 weeks "

If that's true about silva playing for 10 weeks with an injury then it's stupid and poor management. We had kdb to do his job. He could have fully recovered and come back firing before kdb got injured. But it's just a friend saying so he is bound to be over protectI've.

If you take the term injury loosely, I can absolutely believe that Silva has been playing through pain in his ankle. How severe the injury is and how high the risk to aggravate it, is another matter. However, calling it poor management is a bit of a leap given the lack of information.

I did say IF. I stand by that too. Especially as kev was injury free at the time. There was no need to bring him back unless 100%

It could be true, who knows. But definitely watching him since he's come back I've thought that he doesn't look as mobile as we would expect and I even thought maybe he has a few pounds that could be shed in getting match fitness.
Whatever the reason's I really don't think Pep will be wanting him out. I would have him in our set up for years to come. Back to full fitness there is nobody in the league to match him.

That is one of the most beautiful poems I have ever read. I laughed, cried, got angry and then cried again at the end.

Who penned this marvel?
