Not me, don't be there, well I will be this Saturday but not usually.

Can't agree that Demi was better than Ota last night. Demi was skinned a few times in the first half and Ota bailed him out, second half the pair of them coped well.

Wouldn't have given Ota motm though, may have gone for Sterling although no one really obvious stood out.

I thought demi was excellent last night made some great interceptions and tackles. Carried the ball well and read the game brilliantly.

At one point he ran down the left wing when he started a counter attack but he soon realised it was a brain fart moment and stopped his run.

Otamendi was better than Demi. He bailed him out a few times after Demi got hammered for pace.

I thought otter kept Demi from looking stupid a few times.

That said we do play out so much better with Demi don't we.
Tracking back is overrated.

Stats say otherwise mate, he's started 5 PL games this season, we've won 1 drawn 1 and lost 3 including the maulings against Liverpool and Spurs.

I thought Otamendi was very good.
But I'd probably give it to Yaya.

MDM was brilliant last night and bossed Lukaku to some tune , great defending hope he plays in the semi and does the same .

Thought he played well in general but he did get skinned by Lukaku on at least one occasion and by Delefeuo ( spelling? ) too.

Pace as we all know is not MDMs main attribute but he was strong and clever last night against a very inform Lukaku , fabulous classy display from Martin .

Were it not for Yaya winning all his headers from corners we would have conceded more than none from a set piece last night.

I had the Otter as the better defender - he had to cover for Demi several times just off the top of my head - theres a pair of photos in KB's excellent picture history of the game that show the most obvious one, it shows their starting positions when Lukaku makes his run around a static Demi, then shows Otter challenging Lukaku as he puts his shot over the bar (and illustrates the ground he had to make up to get there). That's the incident that made me call Demi an oxygen thief in the match thread. His legs are gone and he should be nowhere near our first eleven. It's exactly the kind of chance that could lose us a match (and could have lost us this match).

I've never voted in the motm at the ground, I'm too busy watching the game, talking, looking round, eating, drinking, complaining about the ref.... No bloody time.

Whooooo give him a medal.

The rest of the match he stood like a statue in midfield getting the run around off Osman and Barkley.
