Done mate!

In fairness to the ref OD. If he was bent, he's had two opportunities to give them a penalty and rightly, hasn't fallen for either.
Demichelis hand ball for a corner. Shamak booked fir diving.

Neither of those were stone wall penalties mate.

I'm only counting stone wall penalties. Not 50/50s or some give it, some don't etc.

Stone wall.

And I think there was another one a min ago. Hand ball from chamakh.
But I want to see it again to see if it was stone wall first.

Nothing 50/50 about them. They weren't penalties. The ref got them right. My point is, if hevwas bent he could have given them against us.
I think he got the Aguero penalty decision wrong, but I don't think the ref did too bad today.
Agreed he should have sent Shamak off on 90 minutes, but I wouldnt get bent out of shape about that either.
Had no bearing on our result and it wasn't s foul that may have injured one of ours. It was just running down the clock on Palace.

Mate, it's far easier to not give a penalty to the city than to give ones to the opposition that clearly aren't penalties.

That would be way too obvious and it's not something I see too often in our games.

It's far more believable to say you didn't see an incident than to say you saw something that didn't happen!

Come on pal...

l don't think we're disagreeing OD.
I'm just pointing out that the refs performance today cannot be compared with Roger East's or Madley's for that matter.
East fucked us over all game not just the penalty which was the icing on the cake for him.
Don't know who the ref was today but a couple of decisions in a game apart that we as City supporters are always going to say he got wrong, I don't think he did too bad. Definitely didn't get the impression that he was out to get us.

Someone keep an eye on motd for me?

That's if they decide to show it.
Just need to know whether it is another to put on the count.

Cheers

I couldn't tell either but judging from Yaya's reaction he thought it was

I thought they would show a replay straight away then I realised I was being silly as it was only a City appeal

Motd never showed or mentioned it.

Hopefully the official site has extended highlights so we can see if it was another one for the count. ..

So it has come to this.

Very sad. And the piece still manages to point out paranoia by saying "city only team to have no player sent off"

one of only five clubs - why didn't the cnut say a quarter of the league hasn't had anyone sent off? Talk about statistically insignificant.

It's about time Pawson gave us one. In the two league games he reffed us this season, before yesterday, he denied Sterling when he was tripped by Clark in the box and Aguero when he was tripped by Inler. What was interesting about awarding that one yesterday is that it was very similar to the Aguero/Inler one.

FA Cup 1996 - the day I stopped believing in the tooth fairy and knew the game was bent in favor of the 'big' clubs i.e. MU, Liverpool, etc...

City 1 - 0 up - brilliant Rosler goal.
Then a penalty awarded to MU from a corner - for no reason - the players from both sides were confused by this 'decision'.
None of the players could comprehend that a penalty was awarded, the commentator could not believe it, etc...

MU went on to win 2 - 1 - glory, glory, .....

One of the most bent decisions I have ever seen.

Yes I remember it like yesterday. The lousy team we had played out of their skin first half and Rosler scored a beauty, only to be cheated by Alan Wilkie. When we played them in the FA Cup a few years ago they dragged out Keith Curle and Alan Wilkie to discuss this fiasco. Wilkie was still adamant that he had warned Frontzeck and it was the correct decision - even with the ball 20ft in the air. He had a little smirk of course. How ridiculous that looks with today's shenanigins at corners

I have absolutely no regret that he was subjected to all sorts of vile abuse and personal attacks from City fans in the following weeks.

Good.

I suppose this is the most appropriate thread for this, although for once I don't have any complaints for stone wall penalties not given.

No, instead today they just gave a phantom one to the opposition.

I have a sick feeling almost every week with this. Not with losing or shite performances. That's football.

But this is not football and had no place in it.
What the fuck is going to be done about it? Surely we have someone liaising with refs. If we don't, we need it quick. It's not like we don't have evidence for very unusual activity. And loads of it.

I would love to see the manager - or a player - call gamblingdebttenberg out on today's incident and bollocks to any punishment.

I'm sick to fucking death that we don't call them out for anything. Only once has Pellers done it, in a CL game.

So many times he's been obvious and we just say 'It's a difficult job'.

Well fuck that, it's fucking obvious to all of us, We are being cheated, week in/week out, it's a fucking piss take.

Won't happen. Plenty of times Pellers would have been well within his right to call the refs judgement over something and he hasn't. No one wants him moaning on for the sake of it like Mourinho but he should make more of a fuss at times.
