Not like we're overflowing with replacements at the moment. And each of the past two summers we've only blew 30-40 million on CBs who were supposed to step up. Good news of Komp being injured now is he might get a longer rest than normal.

Also, don't call people sentimental just because they're using their brain.

In business people use their brain and reap the benefits..sentimental decisions cost money, more often than not.

That's a fact sunshine.

The bigger brains at City probably understand that the sentimentality of their customers has a major impact on income. Not something that counts for much in casinos or accountancy but does in direct entertainment industries. A further factor is squad dynamics, true leaders are hard to replace and team dynamics could be severely impacted.

I will never forget what he's done for us. It's completely irrelevant though, we need 4 centre backs we can rely on to be fit for most of the season

He will be fit as long as we don't give him 3 games in a week after such a lay off.

We are where we are because Vinny is always injured.

Thats a fact.

no, we are where we are because of the teams tactics, the player attitude and the poor decisions made by all.
We had no Vinny for the last 6 games of last season and won ever one of them!

How the fuck does that work. He is a serial winner, that is fact. Binning him is your thing not mine so do not waste yours and my time with anymore shite. Otter and Mango are more of a concern for the club. We get Vinny fit happy days.

Ill retract that.....hes one of the reasons wjhy we are where we are ..the defence has been a fuckign shambles all season.

Fans have to understand that havign a crock of a player who occupies one of the most important positons on the pitch, will fuck up everything...which it has done.

Hear me out Carl, he is World Class a playing legend along with Kun and Silva, Yaya, time waits for no fucker I get that and yes if we were talking about average stopper, Gone I get it. Bayern have a great player similar to Vinny. "Barstuber" His last 3 years have been sickening for anyone in any walk of life.
I sit with mates like you bin him I just do not see any gain from it and the CC win proved he is a silver magnet again.

Holger Badstuber released from hospital, vows to return for Bayern

Bayern Munich defender Holger Badstuber has vowed to come back again after being released from hospital on Monday.

The 26-year-old defender suffered the fifth serious injury of his career on Saturday morning when he broke his ankle in training.

He underwent surgery on Saturday night but will not play again this season.

"I'm delighted to be able to go back home," said the German defender on his club's official website on Monday.

"Of course it was also a big shock for me, but I look ahead positively.

"I will come back, I can promise everybody that."

Bayern's staff wore shirts in honour of Holger Badstuber on Sunday.
Badstuber's Bayern teammates paid tribute to the injury-prone defender before their fixture with Augsburg on Sunday, when they wore a shirt saying 'We are with you, you will make it again' with Badstuber's name and number on the back.

Bayern fans also chanted his name during Sunday's 3-1 win at Bavarian rivals Augsburg.

Afterwards, Bayern coach Pep Guardiola dedicated the win to his defender, without whom he was forced to field midfielder Joshua Kimmich and full-back David Alaba at the heart of his defence.

Badstuber has joined Jerome Boateng, Javi Martinez and Medhi Benatia on the sidelines for the German champions.

Sometimes class comes natural and we need to show the same class as Vinny has IMHO

Fit enough to trot around WEMBLEY with another Cup ! We fooked him this time with the schedule of games we expected him to play, he is his own worst enemy for that. You will never see another like him so enjoy it, do not rush to bin him like The scum did with Stam.

Your being sentimental mate , I get it , but when pep gets here he will 100 % buy another defender (Maybe 2) and Kompany wil be pushed down the pecking order...and thats if he keeps him.

Its just crazy to rely on a Kompany partnership again.

Maybe Carl, worse teams than us have lifted the CL, Vinny could be that charmed captain who has us all sentimental. Pep can wait, he will sign centre halfs as the new ones are dodgy as they come.

I've enjoyed it, but that's past tense mate. He's been brilliant for us but again it's past tense. We are in real danger of missing top 4, currently and his lack of games has been a major factor. I'm not one to ignore sentiments but I also realize that him staying as he is now is bad news as we can't exactly buy a replacement of his class who is happy to be dropped whenever he gets fit then sit and wait for him to be Crocked again and slot back in.
