Am I the only person who likes Nasri? I think he is a great talent, more direct than silva and has a better shot on him too.

I don't get all the hit he gets. Silva hasn't ripped up.any trees this season but he gets a pass because he can be fucking awesome at times.

He won't be ready for the next matches so why would he have taken up a spot in the CL squad?

He's not back for another 6 weeks is he?

No he isn't but neither is KDB but he's in. It does make sense though, as KDB has not been out for months already. I like French Sami, just hope he doesn't take it as a snub.

I like Nasri too, and it maybe one reason why Silva isn't firing on all cylinders, I think he knows his movements so well, that Nasri becomes a foil.
He also adds something different, a bit more bite, and had he been fit, dare I say we would have a few more points.

I can imagine a scenario where this way Nasri might actually play a few more games domestically as cover for the guys in the CL squad if they need a rest. But whatever squad he's in, I suspect he wont see too much action in the games he has left, except from the bench maybe, as it will take so long to get match fit for 90 mins.

Totally agree. I think he gets some stick for his part in wallgate when the rags stole a 3-2 win. That's the only blight for me though, I think he has been a huge miss this season.

He's had some special moments. But wouldn't any international midfielder from France, or Spain or Germany do so as well? Yes, and even more.

Nasri is underwhelming on the whole, with some bright spots. A huge talent. Anyone who looks like kd Lang and can still become a professional footballer, in the men's game no less, has done something incredible.

His main problem is that when he's having a shit game he really looks as if he doesn't give a fuck, plus he also plays like a total pussy.
That said, I quite like him as well, but I can see why he gets so much shit.

Never really replicated the form he showed for Arsenal. But then again, he hasn't played in the number 10 role as often as Silva tends to float around there. We won two PL titles with him as a mainstay so he can't be all bad

That sums up my thoughts too. I do think we've missed him at times this season, particularly when Silva was out, when we're under pressure having someone like Nasri who can keep possession so well can take the sting out of the opposition.

I prefer the more direct approach of DeBruyne in general but sometimes it doesn't suit.

I'll be surprised to see him start any more games this season, he tore his muscle right off the bone apparently, that would've possibly been a career ender back in the day.

Huge disappointment from the moment he got here. Never set the place alight, spends most of his time playing sideways as though protecting his passing stats. A coward of the highest order and a face you could start kicking when you got tired of punching it.
Gone in the summer hopefully.

I don't agree but that made me laugh. Harsh!

I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

One of the few points that've come up to discussion where you and I are firmly on different sides of the fence. Oh well, you can't be right all the time.
