We will create many more chances for him than swansea did and he can head the ball in both penalty areas.
Having said that I would like Nacho man to get some time as well..

He has been very unlucky with his finishing when he has played recently. Given time and oppertunity that luck will change.

Totally agree with both points. The ball also sticks to him at times forcing two defenders to come and get it - we'll soon learn to exploit the space that leaves

well there goes the derby and the Champions League.

Bony is absolutely useless. who'd rather have Dzeko right now?

We can score without Sergio. If we're missing all the players we missed at Spurs it would be hard, but we should still put the Rags to the sword. Give Kelechi a start up front in the league and Bony in the CL.

I don't care about any team we play , we tend to be better even when weakened by injuries. It's the effin Refs/ officials, that are the problem.

We must surely have an injury curse on this club. I'm devastated because I have no faith in Bony at all, he just don't fit with our system. Kelechi is not ready to lead the front and sterling is not a finisher.

Nope me either. I was a Dzeko fan and defended him until the end but some of the performances he put in were woeful last season. I'm giving Bony the benefit of the doubt but could go the same way

That pattern sounds familiar but it is a bit strange as I've been told he's not injury prone

I'm so fucking gutted it's unreal

Anyone that tells you Aguero isn't injury prone is a fuckin moron!!

I really want whoever said he's not injury prone to come on and defend themselves.

Time for players to show their worth. Between Bony, Itchy, Yaya, Dave, Sterling, Kev and dare I say it, Jesus, we should have a few goals in us. We've won games without a true striker on the pitch. To me this is a test of Pellers to see how he can produce gameplans that work when we don't have our first 11 available.

In all honesty Pellegrini is a fucking idiot for not getting another striker.

he isn't actually. he has a plethora of options and some kids. That season of Negredo, Aguero, Jayko, and Jojo was an insane luxury. A strikeforce which can include Aguero, Bony, Nacho and one of Sterling, or Barker or someone else in a false 9 role such as Kev is just fine imho. We proved that last year.

I wouldn't class the richest club in the world having 4 strikers as 'insane luxury'.

We did prove that last year at home and in Europe. If you look at the Aguero thread there were plenty calling for him to be dropped not long ago. I think Bony will get the gig against Bournemouth but maybe Sterling in Eirope.

I understand the disappointment but don't be unnecessarily defeatist. Everyone said Sergio was off form before Newcastle yet now we can't progress without him?

For the most part I agree. 5 goals has a way of swaying opinions though.

We were brilliant last year without him. It all went wrong when he came back, unfit and the rest of the team stopped trying.

Bony now knows he's the main man and needs to step up. If he comes out of this spell goalless, we need to put a For Sale sign on him in January
