Don't believe it for a second. He was sitting on the bench. Surely if he was ill he'd be away somewhere.

I don't know where the illness story came from but it's definitely his calf. They don't heel quickly and he won't play for us again til sometime after the break. Time for the Otter to step it up.

Like it.

I am a bit concerned that our players are coming back from injuries too soon.

Their is a fealing at the club that player's are beeing rushed back but I can't say hoo my sauce is.

Bee? Buzzzzzz? Buzzer? Big Mike?

He he he can't say. I can tell you Jovetic is injured though.Seriuosly, he is injured.

It appears we are just having one of those periods where everything injury wise conspires against us. Need to wrap KDB in cotton wool outside of game time as if he gets hurt we are in trouble

A guy on BM "Bluwhit" who is very friendly with Silva, said Silva will be travelling to Germany provided he doesn't react badly to training today. Apparently Joe had a bad back but should be OK.

Report on Goal says Merlin good to go and that Vinny & Joe very hopeful. Yaya on the other hand is having a scan to see if it's anything more than a tight hamstring................

This is pure speculation but I can't see how Vinnie can be fit after his calf was troubling him again on Saturday.

It seemed we had a gear that none of the other teams had in the beginning of the season. Perhaps we simply overtrained our players in an effort to give us a head start and it backfired big time. THe thing is though, I think we had a fairly good injury record before Mancini fired our entire physio team after we won the title in 2012. Ever since I think we've had more injuries, although that's pure speculation on my part.

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

You're spot on Coca, that 2012 season we barely had any injuries and the head doctor was Phil Batty, Mancini had him and his team removed and replaced with his own doctor, it's gone pear shaped since then.

Batty went on to work with the England rugby team and did a remarkable job there too, he now works for this place

Good News! Its brilliant news, we fall apart without him, he is the cement that holds the attack together.

is it? if he was 'fit' he'd have been on the bench on saturday.... get the feeling he's being rushed back in an attempt to arrest our poor run of form. hope this doesn't backfire on us....

I am praying he actually is fit, instead of just being rushed back when we are desperate.
