If he's fit, I agree that it is no bad thing to get some minutes under his belt. It shouldn't be too taxing

I don't think gingers have knackers. He'll be ok.

Pelle fuming about Vinnie being selected to play for Belgium and ignoring a medical report:

http://www.espnfc.com/manchester-city/s ... pellegrini

"I was not pleased because we sent Vincent with a medical report that he was not able to play but as the manager of Belgium says, he can do what he wants in the international break," Pellegrini said in a news conference.

"He wanted to use the player and he used him. For me, if a player does not play the last three games for his club, they cannot play for their national squad but there are also rules.

"It is not my duty to do it and I think in some days, club will protest about that."

And if I'm reading that right, dropped for tomorrow.

Good on the Count. It's what many of us thought should happen if he played for Belgium vs our wishes.

If he drops Komps today then I'll back Pellers all the way. Probably the first time since he twated Pardew that he's shown us his hairy sack if so.

It's catching, I have a bad knee. But I'll be able to crawl along the canal path to the Etihad after a couple of pints, trooper that I am.

"He was on the bench because he played for Belgium on Tuesday and couldn't work on Wednesday and Thursday. I think working just one day after one month injured is not enough to play again."

while not outwardly a shot at Kompany (instead saying he didn't have enough training) i think Manuel is subtly punishing Kompany for defying him--and rightly so. i love it.

Nice from Pellers. I thought that the Otter and Mangala were okay today. Mangala got a hiding from Joe and what looked like Yaya from where I was sat for their goal and he seemed to pick himself up after that. It's good to see that Kompany will realise now that he can't fuck us about playing for his country with knocks or recovering from injury as there's enough cover.

Today was the first time I had seen Otamendi live and have to say I was far from impressed. He was very lucky not to concede a penalty early on in the game and some of his passing under no pressure was poor. Thought mangala looked the better of the 2 and am sure it'll be Vinny and Mangala from here on in

I like what I've seen of Otamendi, but today he was poor. He's had poor moments in games, but today he was consistently poor.

From Pellegrini's Press Conference Aguero out for a month. Silva and Clichy could be back in a week. Too late for the Derby.

Kolarov and Kompany available for selection tomorrow. Delph might be fit to play in a week. Didn't hear anything about Nasri.
