A bottle was thrown at Griffiths whilst he was taking a throw or a corner. He then stopped to pick it up and hand to the referee. The referee in question then booked him for time wasting! Whilst there are utter idiots in charge of football games and in administration of football matters, there will never be a change in the way football is run and officiated.

Shit decisions are here to stay

Fuck me mate, that is abysmal.

I didn't see it and I can only hope this gets highlighted somehow!!!

I didn't see it but I read about it - utterly ridiculous. It's the player's responsibility to highlight to the referee something that's thrown at him.

I saw it. An absolute joke of a decision.
He was taking a corner, bottles thrown, showed the ref, went to retake the corner, another bottle thrown, he picked it up and got booked while showing it to the ref.
You could not make it up.

Are you sure he was booked for time wasting?

If it was a glass bottle it was probably smuggled into the ground. It is just as likely he was booked for holding up the bottle of a non-uefa partner.

Michael Oliver appointed for our first game

We had him 5 times last season including his cock ups against red scouse when Raheem was denied a penalty

Absolutely.

Mind you, the way things are going, I don't think there's a single one who can be trusted to referee impartially. It's not a case of which one is reasonably OK, it's the one who is the least worse.

This season, more than ever we need to find the net as quickly and easily as possible . If Taylor turns up at the Etihad , i hope it is just to serve beer with the rest of the Slow B'stards that can't pour a beer to save their lives .

Oliver: Webb = Scalia: Gorsuch

1. "unintelligible language"
2. "ACID QUEEN"
3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

What did Clattenburg say about the handball penalty shout? Couldn't hear the TV.

That ball was heading into the goal..or at worse it was on target and to the right of the keeper......the handball was as blatant a penalty as you will see this season.

Unfuckign real.

Pen we were denied on a handball. Looked like it could have well been deliberate.

If it had been the Scum who were playing, that would have been a sure fire penalty,

I saw that in one replay but couldn't make out whether it was deliberate.
