So I'm browsing the official Sporting Life website earlier and they have a published an extract from Stevie GBH's book (quote below).

To me this is a blatant admission that the dippers tapped up players.

Will the cunts be brought to book?

"Gerrard also describes being deployed to attract transfer targets to Anfield and claims he was asked by the club to "take a crack" by text at both Chile forward Alexis Sanchez, before his move from Barcelona to Arsenal, and Germany midfielder Toni Kroos who ultimately left Bayern Munich for Real Madrid."

Is it a premier league rule rather than a UeFA or fifa rule. If so then he is fine as it's different league's. I am just thinking this way because of the way barca players acted in luring fabregas.

We'd convinced KDB to join as early as February.

Normal scope for these kind of dealings.

I'd bet Sterling was texting all our players begging them to do all they can to get him out of murderville. It works both ways.

Didn't we tap Sterling up last year? Remember the comment from Pellers, 'Sterling would cost us £100 million'.

Like KDB, we get in there early, sell them the dream and await their arrival.

There maybe issues about talking to the player but there's no problems with having lunch with the agent ;-)

He wasn't very good at it was he, as they both went elsewhere; they probably couldn't translate the text from scouse.

Not sure what they were thinking he'd have bored anyone out of a move to Liverpool anyway.
