Lawro is up against Stereophonics front man Kelly Jones this week, who just happens to be a Dirty Leeds fan. Lawro has decided to play with a straight bat this week and has gone for an awetastic jaw dropping.....2-0 again!!

No prizes for guessing Mersons prediction, I think he predicts spurs to lose every game the bitter twisted twat he is

Lawro
I have seen Tottenham a few times this season and they have improved in attack in recent weeks.
They are clearly trying to get as many people in and around Harry Kane as possible, with Son Heung-min one player who did that in their win over Crystal Palace last time out, and Dele Alli another.

Alli is clearly going to be a really good player but I am not convinced by his partnership with Eric Dier at the heart of their midfield.
Alli likes to get forward, and I understand why, but he will have defensive work to do on Saturday and, if City have a lot of the ball, I think they will win.

I cannot see Tottenham trying to replicate the counter-attacking tactics that worked for West Ham against City last week, and I am not sure they could do it successfully even if they wanted to.
Lawro's prediction: 0-2
Kelly's prediction: 1-2

Merson
This will be a walk in the park for City, especially after their slip up against West Ham. Spurs' north London derby defeat will affect them, especially as they were looking for a winner when Mathieu Flamini banged in the second.

I can't think of a tougher game for them, and I see this as the game Sergio Aguero comes back to scoring ways in the league. The sign of champions is to bounce back quickly from defeat. City did that in midweek at Sunderland, and I see them doing that again this weekend in the league.

Heung-min Son looks a good buy for Spurs; he's energetic and good on the ball, two hugely important traits. But they'll need far more than that against Man City.

Paul Predicts 0-3

Positive predictions but I'm always a bit worried when Silva is out.

DC is a Mong. Spurs will not be pushovers, especially on their own patch. I fear Kane will break his duck this weekend. We obviously have enough to beat them and I think we should but I've just got a horrible feeling the rags will be top at five o clock

Merson also put Aguero in for his 'team of the Premier League so far' which even the most biased City/Aguero fans wouldn't agree with. How he's paid to spout bollocks I don't know. If he's somehow making a living from it then maybe there's hope for me? :D

Yes, Merson & Lawro's predictions are actually more predictable, than the football matches!

It seems that Harry Redknapp has joined Lawro & Merson, in the match prediction business.
'Arry has put old loyalties aside and predicts that City will defeat Spurs, with a 1-3 scoreline
... This is one occasion that I would love for Harry Redknapp to be correct!

Most of the other betting & football sites are also predicting a win for City-- This site provided the stats to back their prediction:
