That doesn't seem to be how Pellegrini operates - he's giving match time to first teamers who need it, resting the regulars that need it, and filling bench gaps with 'others'. He will probably carry on doing what he did last season and bring on his strongest options (whoever that happens to be).

Me too....bad karma from last year.
Should be playing at least two from the youth.
Firstly they'll be thinking what the hell do we have to do to get a game thus denting their morale. Secondly why risk the fitness of Silva and Aguero on what is, a nice trophy to win for sure, but lowest on the priority list. Last year we didn't play any kids and lost.......they need a test and this is the perfect platform for them and they could easily beat Sunderland.
I'm cheesed of that no lesson has been learned from last year....shame on you Pellers.
