Tracking back/defending? Decision making at times?

It's difficult to criticise him but there are areas where he could use improvement, his passing for one, doesn't attack the near post enough for me and yep his decision making at times eg trying to take on two or three players on his own when he has easier options.

Bizarrely for me he actually doesn't get as many goals as he should do for us.

Missed quite a few chances and a shed load of penalties he's missed.

Maybe this is how much we've raised the bar in recent years regarding our players.

Still love him to bits though.

He has the best goals per minute ratio the premier league has ever seen and he's getting better.

Below Suarez my ARSE. When he was in the premier league, he was nowhere near Aguero's stats and he cheated regularly to try to close that gap.
Granted, his goal scoring has improved dramatically since he joined Barca, but it's scary to think how many goals Aguero would score with Messi and Neymar beside him every week.

For me, he's the best striker in world football, let alone the premier league.

Ah, you say that but, when someone said that Rooney was the best player in the PL ever, Alan Brazil & colleague on talkSPORT did a quick think around and also asked all their guests and, whilst all the usual suspects (all of them top goal scorers!) were named, Aguero's name did not feature, not even once. So it is official: Aguero is invisible - which is of course why he gets so many goals!

I was listening to RTE radio this morning (an Irish station) and the sports reporter was asked about City and proceeded to ignore the question and rhapsodize about the dippers instead. So in Ireland the whole club is invisible.

I would have thought with you living there you would have realised that the whole P/L is rendered invisible in the glorious glare created by the rags and dippers

EDIT: Oops, I thought I was replying to OD there PD. Still the point still stands.

Pep wants him to play his system, not Kun's system.
Which is possibly going to be a problem if Kun's not willing to go with it, seeing as how no-one can deny Sergio's way of playing is effective to put it mildly.
But he's a special case, as in you can't not play him, and it may take a while.
But I believe it will eventually take him to a different level.

it's as much to do with a mindset as anything - if you think you are as good as you can ever be there's a risk you become a Balotelli - if you constantly strive to improve through training and matches then you remain receptive to ideas from your manager. I think Pep wants to keep him believing he can still learn.

Very much so.
It's better to be ignored than some of the bile that has been spewed our way.
I won't mention that Gobshite's name. You know who I mean.

With a goal every 106 min Aguero has the best goal ratio in Premier League history. Nice.

Only took 4 months to make official from the word we heard in September, but very, very good news.

Kun is a City legend who still has incredible quality and one whom I really don't want to see leave the club.

Worst case (I hope not) this will allow us to sell for a ludicrous fee.

Massive conspiracy theory...

Kun signs extension to be sold on this summer for a mega fee...

Pep then has the cash to sign a player I suspect he might rather have...Alexis

Effectively swapping Sanchez for Aguero? It wouldn't surprise me with the clowns running our recruitment.

Yes, a swap, effectively, because I could see why Sanchez might do better in the role Aguero is playing under Pep's system, how he can also play out wide, and then use the transfer budget to address other areas of weakness.

We would also probably get something like £30mil for Serge and pay £90mil for Alexis...

IF Serge goes I would be interested in Griezmann. 3 years younger and we could fuck up rags transfer plans as well

We would not sell Kun for £30m lol. Especially if we sign him to an extension.

I'd love to take Griezmann as well (he just scored twice today, the second a cracker), but Sanchez will cost far less given the situation with his contract ending next season, unless he also signs to leave (like Suarez), and we need to spend in other quite a few areas of weakness.
