@aguerosergiokun: Happy to debut the redesign of https://t.co/0gWCvGeb1O! Enjoy! And stick around, I've got a surprise for tomorrow!

Aguero's tweet yesterday announcing his website redesign so today's announcement is something else.

More than likely confirmation of the 1 year extension he's signed.

Aguero we saw got crocked so maybe a surprise if he does play but apart from that I am expecting the others to be ready to play. And as long as Pellegrini plays one up top I expect we will win.

I'm with you on that one. Media love to mess things up just to have something to throw to news-hungry individuals for the talks and all.

It's your classic "out of context" statement the press loves to skew - basically he is saying he will play for us until his later years and then will play for indepente - as if he'll walk away from 150k a week in a couple if years time

I initially thought it'd be "I'll got to Argentina when my contact ends" so no change other than staying at City for a few more years first. But if the quote was correct, he's said talk of a new contract is incorrect and he was going back after the world.cup.

Yeah because it makes perfect sense for one of the top players in the world to move to fucking south America aged 29.

Even Tevez had some years left at the top and he was 31. Still way too early.

I can see another contract extension without a doubt. Makes sense for all involved. Simple.

I fucking hope so, because it would be terrible for him to leave just a few years after I really start following...

His contract runs to summer 2019 if I'm not mistaken.

Indeed they do as if he was expected to be with us until he is 79.

Well, fan favourite, Jamie Jackson, stirring things up with the story claiming "the club’s hierarchy" are surprised thinking he was going to sign a one year extension.

Yet he writes after 2019 not 2018. Aguero said after his contract is over, so how can that be 2018 when it goes to 2019?

"I do not want to make my comeback when I am too old," he said in December 2015. "If everything goes well, I will return to the club of my heart at the age of 31."

BBC also saying 2019, as the Telegraph says 2018.

I didn't know addition was so difficult for some reporters.

Either way I'm sure the club will give it some consideration. Like sign a striker. Although with Brahim Diaz, maybe we wont need to?
