I don't get the inconsistency.

It's the full names for the likes of David Josué Jiménez Silva and Charles Joseph John Hart, so it should be the same for:

Nicolás Hernán Gonzalo Otamendi
Jesús Navas González
Vincent Jean Mpoy Kompany
Sergio Leonel Agüero Del Castillo

Sorry, but Greg, or in this case, Gnég, just isn't musical sounding enough, to fit into all the many Yaya songs!... I would also miss Joe "Hartily" screaming Yaya's name, to give him instructions, during every match!
