Today's other teams' results were almost as much fun as ours. Well done to the Hammers and Palace, it couldn't happen to a more loathsome pair of posers than Brenda and Maureen.

The Premier League table is looking a bit strange at this early stage (although in my heart of hearts I don't think it is worth anything till after at least 6 games). It could be a sign of how vibrant and competitive a league it is, or how so many 'top' teams have failed to improve on last year. I suspect the latter, and they will be exposed in European football.

We can't afford to get complacent though, as no doubt the refs will gift the Sky 4 some points to catch up and knock us a few off.

And now Spurs and Everton has finished 0-0. Fingers crossed for Swansea tomorrow.

Im only mildly old but I remember the days when the tables werent even looked at til after ten games. Now its all "is this the best ever this or that"...like the media has assumed such a position of self importance they have to claim some sort of ownership of events. Anyway, fuck them and their stale cliches.

Just saw Motd highlights of the Chavs game.

Zouma had a stonewall penalty turned down at 0-0. Martin Keown claims it wasn't a penalty...almost like he's not a neutral in this case.

I thought Keown was spot on in his analysis. They were both holding/fouling each others as happens all the time, and when Zouma jumped he was not going to get to the ball anyway.
Penalty shout, yes. Stonewall, never IMO

You are quite clearly correct, I mean, no-one would argue with that, right?

Oh wait, what's this....

you see more or less similar shirt pulls in every game.
whether all of those should be penalised is another story though.

Never a penalty and only highlighted by the southern-centric media to give Maureen an out.

There'd be 20 pen's a game if we went by that tug on a shirt.

Plus, its Chelsea. Fuck 'em!

Absolutely.

Also, apparently we had one of the worst title defences last year. Imagine if we had got four points from four games? Meltdown in the press, that's what. And barely a bad word about Chelsea. Or, for that matter, four wins with four clean sheets is being dismissed very easily, with attacks on Pellegrini the order of the day if Sunday Supplement is anything to go by.

We'll see who is smiling in May

Well i happened to listen to talksh*te this morning, knowing they'd have their knickers in a twist and one Chelsea fan( apparently he has been consulted a few times previously), reckons that a couple more bad results and maureen will be sent packing.

I know , i know, it really is a crap radio station. Sometimes though it's good for a laugh.

Huge break for the scum that Montero's out injured. Arguably best left winger in the country. Lightning quick.
