Newcastle winning the first game of the weekend would be a very nice start ... then on Sunday I only hope West Brom and Tony Pulis have learnt their lesson and will revert to parking a very stubborn bus!

Fucking Rags, starting the weekend again. Rules me up no end and I'll await them benefitting from the new, new interpretation of the old rules.

Twats!

rags game is shite on all levels. Mcclaren did the expected and had newcastle turn up like a pub team after a night out.

ref giving out yellows to newcastle for fuck all

The commentators are being unbearable, praising every little touch from the scum, no matter how insignificant. should have learned my lesson for foriegn commentary only for rag games

T'was a great header alright. I got so frustrated as to why the ball wasn't going to Ayoze and Mitrovic is not really in a good positi0on when he makes contact with the ball. Nice one.

Newcastle are playing great for being Newcastle IMO. Knowing how it always goes, I guess the Rags will score soon....

they're winning posession well in midfield, but making the worst decisions/errors in the final third. Whats funny is after the first 20 mins... they look about even with the rags ability wise

and 'memphis' can fuck off the diving, overhyped cunt

Agreed. It's like they have no plan for what to do when they get there.

All fair points above. However the elephant in the room is Rooney's offside goal. If it was Aguero in the same position, I'd be rightly pissed off it that was given offside.
How things have changed. That's the kind of decision you just assume they get at home.
Newcastle have come back at them after a shakey 20 minutes.
What's the bets, if it's 0-0 with 15 to go, Bogbrush comes on and scores the winner.

Howard Webb actually did something decent and pointed out how it was an offside. The arm of the NUFC defender doesn't count and if we take that away, Rooney is actually leaning into offside, although his feet are onside. It could've gone either way tbh, but as it turns out it was correct

Correct or not wouldn't normally matter there though, they'd get it either way.
Nice to see their influence lessening in the PL (hopefully). Considering they were practically given a pass in the CL qualifiers the other night.

SMALLING! WOONEY! MEMPHIS!

....all not even threatening the keeper. biased as fuck commentary. If City were playing like this at home we'd be ripped apart

the rags could really go for Pedro being subbed on now. Did LVG even put him on the bench?

Newcastle are really lacking quality in the last third.
