LVG says Martial's fee was "ridiculous."

Well said indeed.

Why it's not quoted as £52m is still beyond me, as two of the three add-ons seem pretty likely to be reached (10m Euros after 10 caps/10m Euros after 25 Utd appearances), unless they sell him after this season which they'd never do to a big signing one year after...

Oh wait...

shame as they will now either get a bigger fee next year or they will have a good keeper for years.

Nothing that comes out of the swamp surprises me. Keep on setting them up and LVG will keep on hitting. Much like Gollum, he is a gift that keeps on giving.

Does anybody think that the Rags will actually get this through, getting the DT to shit on Real after what Woodward & BH have done to him?

They gave (the fake) Ronaldo a new contract in exchange for one more season at the swamp. The player gets more cash and the RAGs get a bigger fee (or at least a stronger negotiating position) the following summer.

LVG is starting to show his true colours, I reckon he has a couple of serious media wobblers in him this season if the pressure continues to mount. It should make for good viewing, popcorn time.

I don't see things going well for them this season they just haven't the players for it.Top four would be a major surprise on the early season evidence.

Hope the candle dippers show them up this weekend. As bad as they are I think they should have the measure of the rags.

You know the media and sky in particular have an agenda when even the fucking manager calls it a 50m fee and they still persist with the 30 odd million.

How is the media not slaughtering him right now?

Martial isn't worth what we paid for him.
I'm just keeping the seat warm for Giggs.
I have a good relationship with my players, all but nine who were here 18 months ago when I took over have left.

In the last seven Premier league games Chelsea have conceded one more goal than they did in the entire season during their first title under Mourinho. The way they are going top four is not a given

So all the talk today after their defeat last night is Brenda being under pressure ... especially with Klopp and Ancelloti available ... would be funny as fuck if they get snubbed by both of them and then get someone their own level (mid table mediocrity that is) ...

Fat Sam is available :)

Maybe if Liverpool's players got paid money instead of playing only for the glory and history, they might have been able to dig deep enough to... well, not concede 6 goals in their last two games.

Then again, none of that matters when you play for Liverpool Football Club. It's about the hairs standing up on your neck when you hear the Anfield faithful. It's about a little sign in an old stairwell that says "This is Anfield" and automatically strikes fear into the opposition.
It's about...

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz......

Master man manager, this LVG. Just needed Rooney and Carrick to help him out a bit and now he's even better.
