Watched the derby again on MUTV ... they use their own commentators and I'm not sure who they are ... the second half is the best comedy I've heard for a long time.

Gary Neville chuckled overboard by the FA. Apparently he is the most experienced he's ever been.

He's so committed to football management that he's going to spend the next 5 years developing his hotel business.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/37341354

And let us not forget the great Rio Slobberchops' immortal words on the then vacant England managership brethren...

There's not a person out there who would say no, anyone worth their weight in gold who's got any confidence would accept the challenge of going with the England team because you couldn't do any worse than what people before you have done. Gis a job.

Perhaps if he hadn't been a pundit, slagging off England players on live TV, he might have kept his job.

Or maybe even if he had been competent.

Maybe that is why we keep beating them 5 or 6 at most levels?

Hammered. Absolutely fantastic.

Not much to do this afternoon, done the garden etc, so might pop onto Rag Café for amusement.

Things you won't hear at a Manchester United press conference

"We were thoroughly outplayed by the opposition. They deserved their win. We need to take a long hard look at ourselves and will redouble our efforts in training this week. The referee has a tough job to do and he handled the game well, all credit to him. The buck stops with me"

Funny. The anger/disappointment isn't that deep for me anymore today. That wasn't "unexpected".

they are starting to realise...

Jose Mourinho: United players low on confidence

No shit Sherlock. And with a manager who is 100% behind them and absolutely not talking them or the competitions they play in down in any way at all, how can this be?

Amen to that NT.

I might just pluck up courage and get onto the Redcafe forum to see what's being said.

Mind you, I'll need a shower after I've been on there, so I'd first better check and see if I've a goodly supply of carbolic soap.

I had a look on Redcafe and there are a number of 'lively' threads ongoing.

By and large, it looks as though nothing and no-one is exempt from being thoroughly slagged off for the current state of their team and Club.

There are some extremely unhappy little Scummers at the moment....it's all very funny.
