What, empty seats at the Sty?
Well I never.
Have they mentioned how they are crippled by injuries yet?
PS. I'm being lazy, I've got it on in the next room ;-)

Yeah we've had all the injuries. Now we are on the patronising how lucky the Danes are to be playing at OT. And how lucky these kids are to make their debut for Scum and on a European night

20,000 unsold seats apparently. Oh and the Danes won at City don't you know?

I did hear something about the privilege of playing at the Theatre of Cunts!

Even the commentators on BT mentioned up to 20000 spare seats.

The thing that gets my goat is how much it's mentioned by wider fans / media that our ground is empty. We have to remember where we have come from, may well be a further generation before we see regularly sold out attendances following capacity increase and planned further development.
They will come with time and our regular challenges for silverware
If you want some ammunition, we have a 98.7% occupancy from 14 home games in the league this season, I'd say that is pretty full for the first season with a new capacity - we also sold out of season tickets and have a waiting list of 'thousands' (according to the Manchester Evening News from last summer)

Some very decent teams left in the Europa cup , rags could be on for a right pasting if they draw one of them .

It's bizarre the amount of non-attendees we have considering. I'm not criticising anyone as I don't know their personal circumstances but it seems like there's a lot of empty seats despite us being sold out almost every home game.
I've failed to get tickets a couple of times this season, was trying at the last minute mind you, and then when I watch on TV/stream there's empty seats, it's frustrating.

Totally agree it's very strange. We are sold out in advance and then there are pockets of 5, 10, 15 seats that are dotted around the stadium. It might be some agency that buys them up from city and flogs them as part of a package deal with flight and hotel etc but the take up is not good. I agree it must be very frustrating.

Yep. Suits us very well. They play the return leg 3 days before they play us in the Etihad.
We have two days extra rest after playing at home to Kiev.
And the bonus is I get to watch the two shitbags play each other whilst out on the piss for Patrick's Day.
Happy days all round.

I hope the club will have a new strategy to deal with this for next season

Sums it up for me. And the added bonus is that they'll battle their tripe out to beat the dippers.
