So many contenders. Though Sagna had a great game, Komps, Mangler, Koliwobbles. Hell I could name the whole team.

Gonna go with a defender tho. Sagna for me.

Best team performance in a very long time. The squad look extremely hungry. Hard to pick just one player but I thought Mangala was super. I hope the rumours of him being packed off are bollocks. Really looked the part today. Special mention to Vinny, looks back to his bullying best.

Ferna gets my vote.

Quite possibly his best performance in a City shirt.

So many great performances, but I went for Korolov, as I've been one of his biggest critics, but he was immense today, unbelieveable in the air at set pieces today, great defending, his tracking back. Big thumbs up from me

Really was one of those games where the "team" should be an option.

But Fern just shades it for me, what a strike for the goal.. Bossed the midfield as well. Aguero had a good game, but if I'm being truly honest he did miss two great chances and should have had a hat-trick. Silva had his usual 8/10 and all the lads at the back were superb.

Fern for me, although was opposite end second half, so couldn't really see how well Mangala played.

Team played well, but still need more from Sterling and Kolarov is still a liability defensively, first half at least.

Harsh. Kolarov was near flawless.

Harsh. Kolarov was near flawless.

First half he completely lost Cahill at a free kick, which thankfully they overhit. He then passed a man in the middle onto Mangala and wandered off, leaving Mangala with two men. He just hasn't got the positional sense or concentration for a defender

As others have mentioned, would it be possible to add a voting option for the entire team?
The team all pulled together as a unified force, so it seems unfair to single out just one player!

This victory was one of the most satisfying, that I've watched in years and felt more like a cup final... Especially considering Mourinho's ungracious & delusional claims, that Chelsea were the better team, in the 2nd half! This was Pellegrini's first victory over Mourinho in the PL, but I expect it won't be the last!

Turn it in he was quality! He gave the ball away once which everyone around me picked up on, probably because they get wet at the thought of him making a mistake.

Neither of those incidents will make it to MOTD as they led to nothing, but he isn't good enough for where we want to be

Name me a left-back that's currently available that is.

That would be good, but we also need a "none of the overpaid prima Donnas" for when we lose

Fernandinho. Well, we've all dreamt of doing that to Costa haven't we?

Best "other" moment of the game was the superbly timed tackle by Sagna on Hazard as he broke in the second half.

Every single player deserves praise for a 10/10 performance

I'm usually his biggest critic but he's been superb in the last 2 games.

I went Sergio because of the goal and the fact that he made terry look so bad jose yanked him, but fern, yaya, both cbs and sagna all were brill. Nobody played poorly, bar sterling dropping off in 2nd half. He's looking good but he's onviously not used to working this hard for 90 mins.
Tracking back is overrated.

Totally disagree. Kolo and Sterling worked very well today.
