Just read thatca safety certificate has been issued for the SS but are you going to be part of the first 50,000 + crowd to grace a football game at the Etihad?

Sadly I'm abroad but will looking in from the sidelines to see how you get on.

No leaving early now!

Bit of trivia. Does anyone know the last game at Maine Road to get a crowd of over 50,000?

They always go down to general sale, it'll definitely be over 50 G.

Last time we had that amount, probably late 70s/early 80s when we still had standing?

Seriously envious of those who will attend.

Ah well, I'm sure I'll see a picture in the MEN showing the single empty seat, which turns out to be a step!

You used to be in the CB3, front seats, pride of place with your Bovril and chip butties; tartan car blanket to boot?

I'll be there, new season seats for me and the lad so I'm dreading having either a know it all twat or smelly fucker next to us.

The price might put a few casual fans off though, isn't the cheapest £58?

51,483 is my estimate.

I thought 119 was part of the 1894 allowed standing section

I have sat in 239 with my kids in the early years, then 323, 123, 212, 111, 302 and now 314 - 3 seats away from the chavs on sunday

Bring it on

However before that I am at the eds game tomorrow against spurs.

Have they decided against building at the other end of the ground as I'm sure that was meant to start this season.

I'd assume that they wouldn't start a second development until the first is signed off with safety certificates, etc.
