Ian will get on soon as a sub bag a hat trick and give Pellers something to consider.

We had more than that last season with Pozo getting game time, and no offense to him, but Lopes, Iheanacho and Denayer are at a different level.

Was going 32 but it's gone, so I reckon 27 assuming subs opposed to starts?

More and more people seem to be trending towards the Arsenal and Wenger views that the purpose of the club is not to win trophies but to bring on young talent and hope for the best. Otherwise apparently the manager is a cunt.

Yep.

Yep again.

If they are good enough they'll make it. But it's very tough for them

I'm in two minds on this. Clearly a lot of people seem to think we can stick kids in willy nilly and still win shit, despite the fact that the vast majority of the ones we've been looking at the last few seasons my breaking through to the next level at similar clubs or ours.

On the other hand there are plenty of chances when games are wrapped up that the count could choose to give a hard working kid 5-10 mins and chooses not to. That baffles me.
Tracking back is overrated.

Not in the first game. Wait until the fixtures pile up. No probs with the subbing on Monday. A good prep for Chelsea.

The kids can get their chance post Chelsea.

It's also a potentially difficult time for the kids.
If they're sat on the bench for 90, or even 70, minutes then they're not getting enough game time to improve anyway.

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."
