Finally it's match day ...

C'mon City ... a three goal margin for a win and we're top of the league (or score 5 or more in a win with two goal margin) ... then beat Chelski next week and get five pts ahead of them after two ... and then stay there for the rest of the season, at the top!

Can't wait for the kick-off!!

WBA 1 - 4 City

I'm with LB2. Win the match any old how. Three points is all that counts in May. Ease Kun and a couple of others back into the fold and not pick up any injuries or daft yellow/red cards.

That said, I think we will win and possibly by two or three. I can see Sterling having a monster game and Nacho bagging a goal or two. Can't wait

Gonna be buzzing for this all day!

Let's get right into them from the kick off, naval and sterling sprinting into their half to chase them down! High tempo right from the start and we will be all over them!

Come on city!!!

Finally.....
cant wait to see team selection, given the fresh blood in the squad it will be very interesting, but I dont expect our esteemed manager to be throwing in too many young lads for this one.
A win will do nicely, set us up for the big bus next week.

Originally posted this in preview thread - probably more suited here.

A guy i know who has a mate working at the club has informed me this is the team. Please dont shoot the messenger if this is off, just repeating what ive been told!

Hart
Kolarov, Demi, Mangala, Zab
Fernandinho, Yaya, Navas, Sterling, Silva
Bony

Ballsy to drop Kompany but also understandable as he did with Joe last season. Very attacking side which is slightly worrying considering our recent defensive issues but I have faith that we will pull through this. Glad to see Bony getting a start (again if this is true), should be good for his confidence.

Whatever the team - Come on City!

b very shocked if thats the team, very!!

Why would he play zab and dem and not aguero? seen as though they are all at the same stage? Also i dont belive Bony to be match fit either.

Aguero on bench apparently with Kompany and Kelechi. I thought this myself, not the team i'd have picked or expected. I've never been 'tipped' of a team from this lad before so honestly have no idea on the reliability but i imagine that will become clearer in a few hours time.

Although i can definitely see why he'd bench aguero over Zab and Demi with his recent injury record and with him seemingly being brought back too quickly in the past.

Agreed about Aguero's injury history. Hopefully the game will have slowed when he come's on to get the minutes under his belt. Hope he bags a brace

Mangala and Demichelis were our most successful CB Ipairing last season by a country mile - stats don't lie. I love Kompany, see him as an inspiration to the side in many ways but his errors lost us points last season and I'll be happy to see him eased back in when he gets some consistency again. Anyhow, I'll be happy with 3 points whatever the line-up . . it won't be an easy game by any means but I think we'll win and win in some style.
