Fuck i forgot there are to be Friday night games this season and glad to see they're using the rags as guinea pigs :-)

Off the top of anyone's head have we got any of the Friday night games at all? (saves me from having to trawl fixtures sticky)

This is a special occasion. Apparently the game cannot be played on Saturday due to some event (which I've forgotten) in Birmingham, and they don't want to put it to Sunday as rags play in CL on Tuesday.

The Friday night games will become part of fixture calendar from 16/17 season

It's because of an EDL demonstration planned for Saturday around Walsall area

Just got in late last night from holidays in Gran Canaria, Puerto Rico. Watched the game in a local restaurant with my son wearing his City jersey, with Silva on the back. The locals were going out of their way to tell us they grew upwith him/lived around the corner from him etc.
He's so highly regarded over there. A couple of places we ate in had photos of him with the staff on the wall. Both said the same thing about him. He's very quiet and unassuming. One barman on the waterfront said he was in with his family about three or four weeks ago, with no fuss. You wouldn't know who he was.
I was delighted with the team performance and especially his MOM performance.
made the night. My kid was treated like a VIP.

Puerto Rico or the Canaries or is it Cape Verde? I'm befuddled.

Puerto Rico is in Gran Canaria, the biggest island in the Canaries. The town where Silva grew up is only a few miles from Puerto Rico.

Unbefuddled?

Don't mind him he's just geographically challenged. And Australian.

He grew up in Arguineguin, which is a non tourist town, just around the coast a couple of miles from Puerto Rico.
Unsurprisingly, but genuinely, nobody had a bad word for him. Seems to be quite shy and unassuming.
The waiter in the Costa Mar restaurant on the pier told us that he owns the Amadores Beach Club, which is an exclusive club just around in the next bay. I took a walk down and it looks really classy, just like himself.

Anyway, he was class against WBA. Really enjoyed that performance. Yaya looks up for it too. Good start for Sterling, although nothing spectacular. Thought Mangala looked confident. Vinny scored.....from a corner??? A lot to be happy with.

Unbefuddled. Thank you.

I just mapped it and it seems there are four Puerto Ricos in the world. Who'd have thunk it?
