Much better this half and a deserved goal for Ian Nacho. Good finish.

little surprised that Lopes is getting so little time.
another loan spell for him ahead?

Yeah I know. It's not that they're fouling us but it's the ugly digs and kicks that get on my nerve. It's a frikking friendly.

I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' Sterling was like a magnet for their defence too .

A game of two halves. It was noticeable how we had 2 banks of four in the second half when we were defending. Well done MP for thinking of that at half time. It's usually the 70th minute before you realise. At least the score has some respectability and we were missing half the first team.

Fairly sure his name is on the team sheet already for the baggies game..

I hope you're right, to be honest.

Two positives. First, Sterling looked really good. We paid a lot of money for a gem of a player. Second, Denayer looks the business. If there's any justice they must both start against West Brom.

Set up of team was poor
Far too open and just not enough players in midfield prepared to track and work.
Kompany was woeful. His errors were terrible and so basic that it's like he has genuinely forgotten how play the position. Usual suspects still there...kolarov a weakness defensively... Sagna offers nothing going forward...Navas not using his pace and passing responsibility...Hart still puts us under pressure with his clearances a ridiculous amount of times. At some point we need few ideas about how to sort these issues and answers may upset few as some fave players go

I got back in time to see the second half would never have believed we were trailing 4-0.

There were several unnecessary fouls, a few on sterling but that dirty fucker Kostic was so out of order with that challenge on Lopez. Looks like the lad has picked up an injury and all because Kostic lost his cool as a result of Lopez's tenacity and desire to win the ball back was greater than his own - cunt!

Who will play in central midfield next week? Yaya is back but Fern 1 is not ready and Fern 2 is out.
