Of you say his name one more time he will appear agsun
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

If all the attacking strikers & midfielders attack at once from all sides, defenders usually will concentrate on those forwards that they expect are most likely to score.

Why did City do so well vs W. Brom? Without Aguero and without broadcasting City's fluid formation, the West Brom defenders had no clue as to which players needed the most marking, other than Silva, Yaya & Sterling. City scored 3 goals, but Bony, Nasri, Navas, Sterling and Fernandinho, also had shots directly on target, that Myhill had to save. I don't want Pellegrini to broadcast City's system(s) and they must NOT be predictable, if they are to do better against teams that defend with every man in front of the goalkeeper.

Ted stops posting, this guy starts posting and you're wondering who the mystery man behind the sermons is?

Ted and Mikhail Chigorin stopped posting at the same time. Just saying.

Yes, but Mikhail is a wordsmith and Ted is a windbag, I'm fairly certain if they are the Clark Kent/Superman of MCF.net, then Ted is quite clearly the nerd with glasses.

I'm definitely sure that my parents aren't Ted Hughes and mancio4ever! Also, unless the Star Trek transporter has been invented, I'm also not a new alias for either Ted Hughes or Mikhail Chigorin! There is no way I could ever have the time, to post as often as Ted Hughes has done, in the past.

Slim, why would I bother preaching sermons to the City choir? The forum members here, don't need to be converted!

They both spelled 'staff' as 'stuff' in their goodbye letters.

Noticed that, I've also noticed a lot of Eastern Europeans mixing up u and a on message boards. For example 'fun' instead of 'fan', so you'd have 'Dzeko Funboys'.

I wasn't taking the piss mate. In fact I've often wondered why they mixed them up, I assumed it's to do with pronunciation.

Yep, it's to do with pronunciation. English has a hell of a lot more vowel noises than the languages formerly known as Serbo-Croatian. Although 'fan' becomes 'fun', 'fancy' becomes 'fency', so it's pretty much a vowel free-for-all.

I've been asked a number of times for a 'gay's' phone number, (as in "that gay that fixes computers/washing machines/old Audis"). It took me a while to realise it's a misspelling of 'guy', and not an en masse deep held desire amongst Bosnian men to fulfill some kind of homoerotic vintage porn fantasy.

Kinkylola, think back to City's matches vs Barcelona, for your answer. While all of City's defenders were overly busy marking Messi, Neymar and Suarez, it was Ivan Rakitic that went completely unmarked in the box and opened the scoring... are you agreeing with me now? Didn't I say exactly this before ... and highlight why Bony is better for it than Dzeko?

Kinkylola,
We differ in that I wanted to keep Dzeko AND Bony, along with the other forwards. Dzeko and Bony are very different types of players and both suited City's style. All four strikers had brought very unique qualities, which allowed the team to be less predictable.

Pellegrini has said that he prefers to have too much talent, which gives him more selection options. With 4 competitions to cope with, all the players usually get some game time. Please remember that scoring goals was not City's problem last season, since they topped the goalscoring stats.

With Dzeko loaned, let's wait and see what the new replacements can deliver.
I hope we defeat Chelsea today and that you enjoy the match!
