jones has four years left on his contract and handed in a request to leave. If everton refuse, could he in theory just self terminate and chelsea sign him anyway?

I am really disappointed that City have decided to sell Rony Lopes to Monaco, for 8.8 million pounds, rather than extending his contract and loaning him out again.

We also won't be seeing any more off or onside goals from Kevin Nolan, the next time we play West Ham... Captain Nolan has left West Ham, by mutual consent.

Cheers WAM!

I'm on holiday at the moment, so don't get online much. In other words, info on transfers will be massively appreciated.

I'm sure everyone will help with news of signings while you're away and you may be swamped with all the last minute purchases, made by bargain-loving Wenger!

Until then, enjoy your Nool-idays!

I think we're interested in De Bruyne.

Joleon Lescott may be joining Micah Richards at Aston Villa... This could potentially mean that City might face both Lescott & Richards playing as centre backs! Football can sometimes be filled with cruel and strange irony...

The transfer that now makes the Lescott-Richards reunion deal possible, is Jonny Evans leaving the Rags for West Brom and costing a £6million fee.

The dippers have let Markovic go out on loan a year after spending £20m on him. More great business from Rodgers

DeGea has now gone for €40m. Unsure of why Madrid would pay that for someone they could get for free in a year

Borini gone to Sunderland for £7.8m with another £2m in add-ons. Now that is a panic buy.

The next Ronaldo, Januzaj, has joined Dortmund on loan

They've been after him for 2 years, if it's panic they need to see a doctor.

Panic in so much as he is utter dogshit and they have left it to the last minute nearly to sign him. A bit like Ade Akinbiyi getting sold every deadline day. I'd be annoyed if I was a Sunderland fan right now

Has it been confirmed that DeGea has joined Real Madrid?
Thanks!

No. The paperwork was not submitted at Madrid's end. And Monaco vice-president confirming that the fee the rags paid for whathisname is 80 million euros, and not a cent less.

I know deadline day is a bit flat because we've done our business but huge credit to Tziki. We've got the Bundesliga Player of the Year, the best defender in Spain and the brightest young English forward plus another young English international for a mere 8 million. It's been a fantastic transfer window. Thank you Sheikh Mansour.

Yes, how lucky are we? And the rag meltdown brings it into greater relief.
