Yeah that's the whole thing isn't it though... aside from copying, the fucking idiots just announced that their new signing is bigger than the club.
It just goes to show how powerful that original poster was.

They think because they use speech marks and put a strap line underneath basically saying they don't know if they're fans or not, that they're safe - I hope the club tests their safety in court.
This formed the defence for another tabloid paper quite recently, their argument was that they can say what they want in a headline if they back out of it in smaller print underneath.

The fact that they use the plural in the headline but the singular inside the article itself should surely be enough to force a retraction. If not the club needs new legal people.
