Yes, you may have to dig a bit deeper, to find all the praise for City's performance against Sevilla... but they weren't completely overlooked, by the media... Here are just some of the many highlights:

7 separate positive reviews from the Daily Mail... They even praised Delph & Clichy for their special warm-down performance for the fans, after the match!
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/teampa ... -city.html

From the UEFA.com website... Praise for City from Sevilla manager, Emery:
http://www.uefa.com/uefachampionsleague ... id=2275806

City praise from the Mirror!:
http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/ ... sh-6763770

BT Sport's Rio Ferdinand thinks City deserve huge credit for changing their formation & winning:
http://sport.bt.com/rio-it-was-great-to ... 4014522591?

Excellent reviews from SkySports, including a clip of Pellegrini's post-match conference:
http://www.skysports.com/football/news/ ... in-sevilla

Some glowing reports from ESPNFC:

BBC website has Arsenal as third ahead of Zagreb. One assumes, that as they have the same points total, they are basing this on goal difference. The only snag is that it is head to head as the first divider and as Arsenal got beat in Zagreb, they should be bottom.

Get your fucking facts right Beeb

Good to see that the bias emanating from the Salford based BBC Sport isn't going unnoticed by the wider public

I'm not sure if we qualified sooooo early last night as there's not too much mention but I'm assured that the Rags had an amazing win.

Think I was dreaming of a nightmare, are we really through?

Unreal really. Why even add that word in the headline, one that was never even hinted of by Pellers?

This anonymous blogger calls him, "Slacker Sterling?!"... This fool immediately outs himself as a Bitter Dipper!

Football365 is just one of many anonymous football fan blogs... They purposely don't even credit an author, for their bitter headline, which Pellegrini obviously never actually said.
... Just meaningless twaddle from another fan site.
