Fucking hell. BT Sports just advertised and said "massive week in Europe this week", then advertised Liverpool, Spuds and Rag's game and not one mention of tomorrow!

Have a done a Cutemancs and we're playing next week instead?

Nope they defo said "In Europe".

No surprise there then. Anyone care to guess who BT will have on their Pundit panel for our game, Oleg Blokhin, Andrey Arshavin, Stalin? Sure as shit won't be anyone on our side. Caught a glimpse of the pre match and they were slagging us something rotten for the side put out on Sunday

They've just repeated the advert and then carried it on with Noddy in the studio.

They know their market, a game in Kiev just doesn't have the same pull.

Fucked if I can remember.
He's had loads though. He starts off this way each time.

It's really fucking weird. His aim before was to tell us how we'd never overtake the mighty united.

He must have just lost it when that actually happened.

Odd ball

Abroad, I don't get the full Sky/BT package and only get the games. Coming back for a week it becomes quite clear again why I sacked the cunts. Wall-to-wall Rags/Dippers/Arse with the odd snippet for other clubs if theyve done something spectacular.

Sky's advertvfor the weekends prime fixture is just one example. A few clips of Dippers and us, no mention of the teams, then finished off with 'Watch the cup final following our coverage of the the Rag v Arse game, starting at blah blah blah'.

Always remember this is a business and that's how they run their marketing. It wouldn't surprise me if it was Sky who brought up the newly spouted CL format after losing out to BT, getting their beloved Rags and Dippers back in with a lucrative deal for UEFA.

The BBC first line of their match report, "A full strength Manchester City"

Full strength?

KDB, Mangala, Nasri, Bony, Navas, Delph all injured. Thirteen fit players with four defenders and two kids on the bench.

The article may as well have been written by the GPC

The Beeb is the new Rag propoganda machine. I never used to mind paying my licence fee but now I'm looking at going down the route of pretending not to watch live TV.
