Annoys me when pricks like him follow up something disgusting with the excuse "Barker revealed that his aunt had suffered two miscarriages in the last five years." What's that got to do with anything? Like he's using it for sympathy or a kind of 'I've got a black mate so I can't be racist'.

I can understand - but not excuse - why he did it. Hitting out verbally in a cruel way is not a good reaction, no matter how emotionally involved one is. He got the right punishment that will hopefully dissuade others from acting that way.

Now to tackle the comments sections and forums...

Firminio also gained more points than his team did for the whole of January.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

Pat Nevin can get fucked:

http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/38740421

Analysis - 'City will be found out'

Former Chelsea and Everton winger Pat Nevin, BBC Radio 5 live

"I think if Manchester City play the team they did tonight away from home against other team, they will be found out.

"They are far too open. Yaya Toure, as the holding midfielder, won't get around enough against decent teams.

"West Ham are the perfect team for Manchester City. They played 4-4-2 and were destroyed in midfield.

"Tactically it was a mess."

Nevin was very complimentary of us last night. Interesting that they picked that particular quote of his to run with.

And tbf he does have a point, we are wide open with Yaya there, he offers us more control in possession but Fernandinho would offer us more solidity in that position when we're out of possession.

Beat Darren Gough and you could win a signed and framed Marcus Rashford shirt!

Now there's an offer I'd take up. Must be worth a fortune on eBay. Doesn't say where Darren Gough is though. Bet he's hiding anyway (geddit?)!

Martin keowns column had me laughing. I think he is trying too hard at this media shite

"City’s shape is like a flower coming into bloom and it relies on pace, quality and interchange of movement," he wrote. "All of these things have to click into place. When all of the cogs are moving together, that is when the magic happens.

"At City, the pieces of the jigsaw are coming together and we are seeing a glimpse of a promising future. It is healthy for the Premier League that Guardiola has not arrived in England and conquered all before him. If he does, it will be his greatest achievement."

So that's, flowers, clicking, cogs, magic and jigsaws? Well.played Martin.

Always thought there was a certain neanderthal quality to his appearance as well; I honestly think he makes the Tollund Man look positively handsome by comparison.

Moreover, if ever he went out with Gareth Bale, on a night out for example, people could be excused for thinking they were escapees from the local zoo.

Didn't they prevent a sky takeover of the rags? Delighted to see the DCMS Select Committee taking an interest in them.

Now you come to mention it BJ, I think you're right.

Select Committees are often populated by members who are quite independently minded and can give anyone brought before them, a serious 'grilling', quite often to newsworthy effect with the cameras running.

There could be some fun and games in the offing, although expecting anything to come from it/them might be another matter altogether.
