I worked with a lad for years and we talked all things City until one day he came in said he was actually a united fan? I even went to Blackburn away with him and he was always pro-city. He said he had a good talk with his Dad (rag fan) and he realised that he only supported City to rebel against his dad when he was younger, in fact he has always liked united but just didnt want to show his Dad. Now he has grown up (he was 27 by this point) he has realised he is a united fan really! This was back in 2006, I havent seen him in years, I wonder if he still supports them?

Following this admission in front of the whole department, he got serious abuse, and even more funny was that girls who didnt even like football turned against him because of what he did and said he couldnt be trusted LOL. Every day he came into work, he got the same greeting off every person "good morning Steve, who do you support today?"

My brother said he was going to support United, so my dad killed him with a baseball bat.

It was intense.

Apologies to everyone with a baseball phobia.

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."
