It's just on the OS that Negredo is transferred today. That's 30 million euros. Sinclair, Nastasic, Rekik, Milner, Richards all suddenly off the books. Jovetic and maybe Dzeko too will be off. Bet the accounts look pretty good right now.

i thought the 30 million counted towards the period in which we agreed the loan-to-buy with Valencia? as in, we already used it when buying Bony

????

Yep, that was my understanding too.

Thought the money for Bony came from the sales of Rodwell and Garcia, plus a fee or two for loaning out players.

It's a sad thought but instead of the meek inheriting the earth, it looks as though, these days, it's the accountants.

Indeed, and I agree it is rather sad.

Pellegrini said in a press conference back in January that we have money to spend because of the sale of Negredo, we then bought Bony shortly after.

Doesn't make sense though, if there are restrictions on our spending, (no matter how corrupt as we agreed to them), then we need to spend everything that we are allowed to just to stay in contention. Or fall backwards by the minimum while this cunts fuck us over.

We were allowed to do a net spend of 49m and very quickly spent about 51m on Octopus, Mangala and big willy, then got about 2m for Barry.
But then we sold Garcia 13m, Rodwell 10m and loaned Denyer, Lopes and Richards, fees paid to subsidise wages I think. Then Negredo with a fee agreed at the end of 23m.
If this 23m needed to be spent last season then we should have made 2 signings in January of 20-30m as we can't afford not to invest this money in our squad.

I thought it made more sense that Negredos money came in this summer, but I know nothing really was just juggling numbers. Pellers might not know it all as Tixi is responsible for buying and selling...

Makes no sense for us to let the opportunity to invest pass us by. It would mean that despite the restrictions we could have signed Reus, Kondobgbia or Gondogan. If their reported by-out clauses are to be believed. Or do what Chavski do and buy players just to loan them out, getting the money back later when really needed.

Nothing about ffp makes sense, apart from it's deeply and fundamentally corrupt and the last thing Fifa need after years of cunts taking the piss is a little french cunt running for president who has proved himself now matter how you look at it, or how you run through the numbers to be bend right down to his core. aka Barca's bitch.

I'm sorry but that's just nonsense re buying players in Jan.

You don't just buy players for the hell of it. We have just managed to ship out some players with whom Mancini did exactly that, & are discussing the difficulty of moving on players now, to make way for new ones, plus we had a full squad of players for the Champions League & had to leave Jovetic out of the squad.

Apart from signing some cheap English numptie, there was no room for manouevre & if we had done that, we would now be looking to offload him in this window as well.

What do you mean by "big"?

We do need to free up places in our 17 'foreign spots' to bring others in.

1 English, 1 foreign. That will be our business. Big business.

I wish i could do bug business as well, but this insufferable heat wave's got me totally dehydrated. My poop is so dry I would have to dig it out with a spoon.

That would indeed be a better tool than a calculator.

Pencil ! Ha ! A good one for small problems. However if they are difficult, you can always work 'em out with logs...

It's looking like Jovetic & Dzeko from the jungle drums.

If that turned out to be true, along with the other rumours of Pogba, Sterling, DeBruyne & Delph, coming, then that would actually all fit squad wise, unless there were any surprises.
