Last years pre-season's I was on my holibobs down in Spain and the Aussie/far east games fucked my "me time " over proper big time 3am Kick offs WTF!! (i appreciate that is what you have to go through 38+ weeks a year, but it was my holibobs fook sake!!!)

I'm going a little later this year, landing back the morning the season kicks off, so hopefully we'll have a couple of games locally (Europe) that i can saunter down to my local to watch over a few Cerveza with Patatas Bravas.

Nigel. Traditionally once a year or twice if you're affluent or tremendously lucky, the family leaves the home and goes on a Holibob. This is standard of most families and in many cases they buy a bucket and spade and go to the beach. They also have Ice Cream and Donuts.

I myself of couse have no experience of this tradition but I have read about it in books. Nowt as queen as folk Nigel.

Yep..... I take it you don't have kids in the 5-10 yrs bracket? Where regardless of 'class' such a word is common place, our lad uses the word when talking about ours with such enthusiasm it brings a smile, it's sort of stuck.

Sorry if it offends you over there in leafy Newhaw/chertsey.
