I'm fed up with the Rooney love-in already - and ITV's coverage has only just started. At least there's the billion ad breaks to look forward to before kick-off.

We've had it for years so no real change. But questioning whether Shrek is better than the Ticket Tout, just to give Wiggy a leg-up, is pathetic on so many levels.

He's almost irrelevant in today's market, and not worthy against a WC Winner.

Media wankfest my arse, they're just a bunch of whoring cunts!

Wonder if the local postie sticks one in England's net, and will wiggy get a goal against the whipping boys and get his goalscoring back on track like he did against brugge

Ball hits Stones' arm from a corner, England get a penalty. I'm almost rooting for San Marino after that.

He's right though - Rooney's only chance was a dodgy pen versus a shite team.

I think 99% of Shreks goals have been scored against Andora and San Marino.

Fat useless cunt.

That was pathetic, but understandable.

Turned on the radio forgetting England were playing..in the five minutes I had it on the commentator said "Is this the moment for rooney?" twice...I had no intention of being around to listen to the eventual moment and circle jerking. Amusing that the fat cunt didnt break the record against san marino, but it would have typified his international goal getting. A flat track bully par excellance. I dont like charlton but he was a great player and in the modern era only Lineker IMO deserved to break it, because he scored a fair few of the goals when they fucking mattered and against good opposition.
