Lucy Bronze and Jill Scott have both stood out for me.
I wonder if we have many scouts there looking to strengthen City ladies with some foreign talent?

I wondered that myself. I would be happy to sign the French strikers but I don't know if the salaries are big enough to entice international transfers. I would not want to sign the Cznadian girl who was doing the imaginary yellow card thing to the ref trying to get Bronze booked early on in the game. Proper pissed me off seeing that last night.

Won't be able to sign anyone from the U.S. team. They all play in the the pro league here but are paid by U.S. Soccer and not the clubs. It's to help the league control costs and keep out best players in the U.S.

I see the WSL starts in 12 days time! Out MCFC Ladies are going to get Zero rest before the new season starts. I am sure they wont care if they pick up the trophy.

U.S. And A up on Ze Germans.

Some shite officiating going in favor of the U.S. But hey ho. It happens.

Not a completely shit match.

I love hope solo. I have spanked it to pics of her anus and giant meat chimes however I do respect her as an athlete first and foremost. She's balls.

Cheers

I see Blatter is not going to travel to Canada to present the trophy citing 'personal reasons', the first time in his Fifa career. That after Jerome Valke failed to show at the opening ceremony.

Anyone would think they didn't want to leave Switzerland!

England deserve to be level but that was a horrible dive. But the Japan one looked outside the box to me.

Indeed it was outside the box.

And the England one was a pen (& a dive).

Effort and energy is great as is much of the defending but we are not really trying to play much football are we? Just whack it forward and hope to get on the ball but everything is so hurried.

Bronze is good when she gets on the ball and most of the time defending altho she does seem prone to a silly moment at the back. Duggan is a great team player with top workrate and she does always want to try and make something happen when she has a chance. Jill Scott is one who does try and get the ball down and play and just needs that final pass to be right. And good old Steph savagely brought down for the penalty and a 3pt assist.

Fuck. What a horrific ending. Luckily Laura basset isn't Colombian. Feel gutted for her. That was some shit defending tho by the entire back line on that ball. Tho I felt she had help coming over and could have chances letting it go. Cest la vie.

Cheers

I thought they played more football than in the previous games at times but the final ball is normally a Sam Allardyce.

At least we get to have a bust up with the Germans.
