Presumably the England Team Twitter lads read this thread & thought it acceptable to say the women could go back to being mothers, partners & daughters!!!

Only need to see that poor barstward of a scientist, who said women shouldn't be in the lab as they were distracting as they made men fall in love with them - got sacked by the uni he worked for, hounded by the press, even though it was an off the cuff unscripted comment, to which many female scientists who knew him said he meant no harm by it
