Anyway, IIRC we moved for Delph when he was at Leeds and he went to Villa, who were looking to gate crash the top table under O'Neill?
If so, we've been watching him since he was a kid.

Kind of like Adam Johnson

Hehe, that was intentional, wasn't it?

I feel he's very above average. Very Good. Not great. Sinclair Mark II? I doubt it. I think he's much better than that and much less a one trick pony. Villas best player in their best games I felt. Poundshop Wilshire. Bring him.

Cheers

Poundshop Wilshire is the most accurate description of Delph ever.

Kudos Doomy.

AND... the silly season gets even sillier..

Bigger even than chinners, doomies AND wooders bollox all in one...

Fresh off the sky transfer centre so it must be true! :-)

Antalyaspor have declared their intention to sign Barcelona star Lionel Messi in five years after snapping up two of his old team-mates this summer.

Former Camp Nou forwards Samuel Eto’o and Ronaldinho have both made the move to the newly-promoted Turkish team in recent weeks. They are now dreaming of being able to persuade Messi to make the same move in the future.

Antalyaspor president Gultekin Gencer, speaking to LigTV, said: “I hope that the president who succeeds me is capable of bringing Messi here in five years’ time.”

I wonder if this means his son leaves the academy? If so, I'll be back to have a rant in the not too distant future about privileging rag player's sons over local lads.

He will score 25 in that league if he doesn't rape or get injured a lot.

Cheers

Sunday Mirror say City are poised to sign Pogba for 100 million euros or about 70 million pounds and that the Club want to take him on the Australian pre season tour. Contradicts Juve's recent public stance.

Pirlo to NYCFC is now official.
Would have loved to see him in our shirt (a couple of years ago).
