I stopped trying over there after a couple of months. They don't like being pulled up on anything. You can't be experts on everything but one or two seem to think they are. Found the banter here less vitriolic. More of a family atmosphere in here (a dysfunctional one).
Some pretty good threads over there all the same if you do manage to get in on them.

To be honest, you came across as someone who throws insults around if they don't agree with you.

I do still visit this forum but only to read rather than contribute. It's not as if I was a regular/valuable poster anyway. Still a pleasure to read posts by the likes of Wonderwall, Patrick, Slim, Carl etc..

Shame that posts by Grob, Kippax and NQDP are few and far between nowadays.

I find BM accomdating. You occasionally get someone jumping down someone else's throat for making a throw away comment but I do like it a lot.

I don't have a big problem with BM tbh. I still read occasionally. Just don't have time for both and found my experience in here more fun.
There is a lot of knowledge to be gleaned from the likes of the FFP thread in there. I think the EDS thread in here is better though. Like I said, each to their own.
