Because he is clearly a top quality player. WHich ever way you look at it 10 million (which will probably be paid over two years if reports are correct) in todays market is fucking joke. You can go on about injuries etc but even Rodwell went for more than.

Surpirsed no English sides have come in for him he has the potential to be a real top class player.

Exactly. The risk is too high for anyone but the skint Italians.

I'm not saying you can't debate a transfer but clearly there is fucking zero demand for his services outside of a shit loan and sell on deal, maybe.
