Blatter cannot be extradited from his native Switzerland to the US without his consent but he risks arrest in many countries. He will not travel to Canada for the Women’s World Cup final in Vancouver on Sunday.

“Until everything is clarified I won’t take any travel risks,” Blatter said.

However, he will be traveling to Russia for the draw for the qualification matches for the 2018 World Cup on 25 July.

Doesn't that just say it all ?

Swiss people can be extradited to the US under current agreements. Perhaps the only restriction to this is if a Swiss court/judge, determines that the criminal laws that have been broken in the US , are not crimes in Switzerland.

Bladder is not beyond the law here, just because he is Swiss.

This latest "knee jerk " reaction from him, sums the little weasel up entirely. He's getting ready to deflect everything to others claiming as President he can't control everybody on his counsel. Well , sorry Seppli , Alterjunge, that is what a President is meant to do.

I think that when they do come calling, he will try to take as many with him as he can & do some kind of deal to lessen the punishment. Hopefully some of our enemies at UEFA will go.

Looks like the hounds are circling close as he's starting to lash out blame at everyone around him, saying France and Germany influenced people's vote due to their own economic interests. A very stark change from him insisting that FIFA is a legit, clean organization.

Also to note: he is not traveling to Canada for the women's WC final, citing 'personal issues'. First time the FIFA president hasn't attended a WC final.

Of course it's just a mere coincidence that he had promised to take the World Cup to new territories!

The French situation was long suspected, indeed Qatar have since bought significant amounts of military hardware from France most notably their rafael fighter jets, this despite Qatar relying on the U.S. Airbase in Qatar as being the single biggest deterrent to Iran fucking about over the shared gas fields.

I'd heard before that there have been some considerable investments in Germany by Qatari Dar - the sovereign wealth fund and that this was linked to a World Cup vote - however Beckenbaut claims that the award of the World Cup to Qatar was strange, yet blatter now appears to be confirming that the slimy cunt is likely to have followed his country's economy interests and voted for Qatar, which kinda destroys that cunts reputation right there for me!

Don't forget the Russian military ship orders placed (at the cost of billions of Euros) with France either - which were only eventually cancelled (because of Ukraine) after severe nagging from the rest of Europe and much dragging of feet from our French friends. I'm going to guess France (Platini) voted for Russia as the 2022 host.

Guarantee you Plantini voted for Qatar after the PSG investment, his son landing a cushy job, and the Qatar order of French fighter jets.

Also, FIFA have banned their chief World Cup bids inspector Harold Mayne-Nicholls for 7 years. You know, the guy who said Qatar and Russia were the highest risk options out of the bunch. One of the only seemingly non-bribed people.

I meant Russia in the 2018 vote, I wrote the wrong date - it's a matter of fact Platini voted for Qatar in their bid, and he paid them a visit just before the vote (and I take it for granted that there was collusion between Russia and Qatar to avoid their bids conflicting with each other)

The same guy that had to go to court for pitch invasion when he went onto the pitch at Everton as 'Jason Bent' in City gear and unofficially joined City's warmup. He does a lot of these publicity stunts.

A small item in the sports section of the NZZ today. Criminal investigators have identified over 100 possible incidents of Money laundering relating to awarding the WM in Russia and Qatar.

It seems to be slowly coming out that Qatari companies have made payments to sham football projects in the Caribbean, ostensibly to avoid the blame falling directly on the ruling family and organizing committee. Of course the people who own these companies are the ruling family, and the organizing committee is made up of........yep, the ruling family.

I expect Russia will likely have done similar through the businesses of the likes of Abramovic and other wealthy folk.

They're singles though, if there is a man in world football who's spinning around a pole crawling on all fours for singles it's Gill.

Blatter doesn't scuff his knees up for less than Benjamins.
