I usually have a pint in front of the black beer portakabin in city square then have a pint of Amstel in the stadium at half time.

I love a beer at the footy, but never get bladdered due to the price. Over here Ivan drinkin my seat so would have 4-5 if not driving, 2-3 if I am depending on how long until I drive.

There not pints here before anyone cries foul.

In England when visit all bets are off and I get as much as I can hold.

Don't want to miss any of the game so don't go during. Can't be arsed queuing at half time for overpriced drinks so don't bother at all. Can't see the fuss.

I rarely drink much alcohol before football games either. I like to know what it is I'm watching.

That must be a recent thing. I drank for the opposite reason for many years before the game!

Milner with a Fellaini-esque arm and he gets a foul for it.

Haha, spot on.....I remember many times in the dark days not emerging until well into the 2nd half if we were a few goals down by half time. Having said that, the atmosphere in the North Stand bar before the game and at half time was often better than it was in the seating area

I think the team should cut down. It hasn't agreed with them this season.

My drinking depends on the KO time. A night match usually means driving there straight from work, so just time for a cider and pie in the ground, or if it's European night, a coffee and pie.

A proper afternoon KO means a few pints in town, used to be real ale but now I tend to try Czech lagers.

I generally don't have more than three now or I can't remember the game (and have to visit the loo at HT). My worst was at a rugby game though, Welsh Cup Final decades ago. Even now I only know one of the teams that took part. Newport lost.

i can never drink enough to get really messy before or during a match.

if i were say, on a coach to Wemberley i might be able to find a way to get completely blotto on the trek, but as it stands I'm usually so charged up and excited to see old friends that i spend my time socializing and not trying to win some award for fucktard levels of imbibing.

Besides, being drunk isn't very cool. Being able to drink a shit ton and still handle your business is fine tho. I've reached an age where if i don't get drunk in the first hour of drinking...then i just plain old-fashioned do not get drunk. I dunno how else to explain it.

cheers
