Thought Silva was excellent as Henry said he really worked well off the ball today to add to his great vision and passing. Topped off by a great assist for the goal.

Absolutely loved that game. We looked a lot more secure at the back even though Joe had to make a few saves and our midfield seemed to look like they knew what their game was.

Silva and Aguero were great going forward and their willingness to track-back showed a real presence for the team and brought them together.

I'm a Yaya supporter but we needed him out to give this type of performance.

As for Sky, why do we have to so much to get a little praise after 60 minutes.

Loved it, we were great.

I'll repeat what I've already said; he came on and held the ball up very very well. Better than Dzeko would ever have done. He plays with his back to goal. That's his game. And he didn't do anything wrong whatsoever today.

He did fuck all wrong in Spain either & got shit for that. Then had a great game when he was given a chance. Now he's getting stick again for doing pretty much everything we signed him for.

Doomy, he's not played for a while and was thrown on after an unexpected injury. What did you expect?

He wasn't great, he wasn't bad, he played a so-and-so 10 minutes in keeping with the time he's played recently.

Me too.

Looks a bit nervous still.

They will watch him at city far more closely than we all do and will know exactly where he is weak and look to rectify this. He doesn't look like someone who will shy away from hard work. Pre-season will be so important for him.

Finally a gritty performance to be proud of. The Demi-Mangala partnership worked again although it looked shaky in the first half. Joe was great. Aguero and Silva at their best again and Kola played his best match of the season. Having said that, I couldn't watch the 5 extra minuted. Suddenly I remembered the lawn needed watering !!

I though that Hart had a good game today, some good distribution too. I'll hold this in my mind so that I can see more good in him when he gets back to his usual.
Aguero was sharp as fuck - nearly back to his best and Silva, Kolarov and Mangala deserve special mention.
If we had De Gea and the rags had Hart, we'd be top with a 9 point lead and they'd be in 12th place - that's the difference between a 'good' keeper and a 'top class' keeper - 12 places - think about it.

Boyata did very well in the limited time he was given

The manager responded to the situation so no complaints from me whatsoever - if he'd responded in a few other games this season maybe Chelsea wouldn't be champions with three games still to play.

And maybe if our players had put a similar effort into other games that they put in today the same thing could be said.

Just back from the pub and can't be bothered to trawl through 11 pages. Here're my two pennies:

- A bit shady in the first half, but in total control in the second.
- Lampard's legs are gone. He's done well for us this season, but I'm not sad to see him go.
- Fernandinho was immense. He's by far the better of the two Ferns.
- Mangala had a very good game. The partnership with Demi is looking very assured at the moment.
- Hart's throw to Silva for the goal was with his left hand. Fucking amazing!
- The ref was good in the first half, but it looked like he had been instructed to give everything to Spurs second half.
- I was very impressed by the lines men. They made som really goodd, difficult calls.
- Sergio is god.
- Silva was immense.
- I agree with Ted, Bony played very well.
- I have written off Boyayayayayata upteen times, but he actually looked good coming no tonight,
