If we loan him out again and end up selling him to another Championship side for 2 or 3 million in a year's time I will scream very loudly. Give him a chance.

He will get his chance pre season, maybe even post this season. If he's ready to stake a claim in the first team, he will make sure he's right up for it when the chance comes, & take it; make it impossible to ignore him. That's what the club wants to see these kids do.

Well if he's good enough that won't happen. He will either play at City or go on loan somewhere decent. If that's not the case, we probably won't need to sell him as he will just sign for someone else.

Since when is it set in stone that if hes good enough that wont happen ??? I bet the scum are kicking themselves with Pogba hey!

We will never ever know until we play them in a 90 minute match ,excellent players always come into their own once they get in the first 11 and play 90 mins.

Pogba left. Denayer can do the same. If he stays, we will either have him with the first team or loan him out for another season then try him again. No point him sitting around. Either play him or loan him. But if they fuck him about, he'll just not sign a new deal in the summer. Then everyone will be in for him.

They will try him out pre season.

Back in the 80,s when I went to South Africa to work in Casinos I was offered a trial for Bush Bucks (Look them up in the SA league) and also a team called Leeds United (Sister club of Bush Bucks) based in Durban. My first trial was only 30 mins in a friendly match and I didnt do too well as I was trying too hard to impress...........then I went and played a proper friendly match the following week and it was alongside players from Derry City and Crusaders (Cannot remember if they were there to train or to actually contractually play as a loanee) and I played great and was offered a pay as you play deal.

My point is , you are too fuckign nervous when you only have a few minutes to impress , you need that full game to show what you can do.

I hope City do not fuck this up as my mates in Manchester tell me this guy really is the real deal and Pellers should give him more thna just a few minutes to show us he can do it in the big League.

Accepting cuntface's interception as worthwhile, which you can continue on obviously, I fully understand exactly what you mean CARL, & it's kind of the point I've been making re Pozo earlier this season & the lack of Barker etc etc playing roles in the first team this season. Pozo got shit on. If he plays, imo he should play doing what he's good at, or at least get the chance to redeem himself by playing in his natural role rather than just making a cunt of himself vs Jagielka. BUT perhaps the whole thing is to put him through it & see if he comes out the other side, which perhaps he is. I don't know.

But I totally agree about the nerves thing. That us why I would have had as many as possible getting on the pitch this season. First they are likely to shit their pants, then when that stops, they start playing football. So get them shitting as soon as.

But in the case of Denayer, I'm pretty sure he will get tested with the first team pre season. Then they will decide whether to use him or loan him. BUT again, he can leave if he wants. We have to prove to him, we are the right club.

I think its criminal when a manager plays one of these youngsters out of posiiton.....first of all they should slot in as they know and afterwoods with some confidence can they take over another position.

Anyway , lets bring this conv back up in the summer.

Pozo has also been been played out of positioj in the EDS most of this season. But that goes for a lot of players at that level so as far as that goes, it is certainly to expand them as players.

Whatever happens with Denayer, I can promise we rate him. The rest as you say, we will see.

In fairness I think the Club are very keen for a home grown player who costs them nothing. If he performs decently pre season I'm sure he'll be given a chance. The answer is to use the domestic Cups to blood a few. If we go out early so be it. We did this year anyway playing strong teams FFS.

And it was predictable looking at them. Big black mark on the Count that one imo.

Big black mark. The Newcastle cup exit was the last match I got over to with my young lad. It was very disappointing.

what you wrote above is as close as you've gotten to an "essay" in 35 years you spazmoid.

So to say you could expound on such a liberal dose of "writing" seems more than ambitious. Perhaps even foolhardy at this stage.

Stick to the cursing and craptastic analysis of defenders please. Know your role, etc.

cheers

as a coach you play players out of position as a matter of course to educate the players and help their growth.
Mr Bale has done alright as a left back at southampton
left mid at tottingham
right mid as Real Madrid
