Thought Kola was excellent today. Really great stuff to watch from him. He's slowly turning in to my favourite City player.

Earlier in the season, kids yes. 4 up today, kids yes. 2-0 with Kamikaze defending , & 9 mins added on fucking NO.

Though you have a point, Ted, do you really think he would have brought him on anyway if we were cruising? I reckon not...

Or it might have tired him a bit, just to not make him 100 % for tomorrow. Seeing as we didn't need him, might be better for tomorrow.

NINE minutes might have tired him? A 19 year old professional footballer. Seriously?

Better today, but still unconvincing. The amount of time we had in their box we should have got at least 3 or 4. Positives - Mangala & Nando both good. Navas impressive in some respects.

I still don't know if you're serious so I think you're gonna have to answer that question first yourself. Calm down.

Nasri appeared to be limping and stretching soon after he came on. I kept my eye on him and got the impression he had a hamstring problem. He was speaking to the bench too. That's a problem if Silva is out.

Just watched the first goal. I think it was Kolarov's presence on the pitch that made Collins mess up.

Your opinion about Kolarov really has gone 180. Takes a lot of humility to admit that you were mistaken about him.

He's not involved in the youth cup tomorrow anyway. Different age group.

Well then I have nothing. Go on Moonchesteri, look Pellegrini up and talk to him.

If you have his number I'm glad to give Pelle a call right now ;-)

No probably not. I think he was there as an emergency. Let's face it, he has done little recently to merit it. There must be 8 or 10 players who deserve a shot right now more than Pozo.

Mangala MOTM for me. Navas worth a shout as well. Fernando very decent. Yaya, better. Zaba, much better. Silva, same as always pretty much. Aguero, actually somewhat shit tbh imho, at least for him. Well taken goal but played around too much with more balls in the box than a fluffer on a porno set. Oh, and Hart was magnificent in every decision to get to the ball. Looked more comfy than he has in months. I swear with Vinny in the lineup that was a 2-2 draw because Hart expects him to mop up some of that shit that he couldn't or wouldn't and then boom....ball between his legs and pressure on. But instead he came out for everything and made himself big and strong and i loved seeing it. Good for him. Good for City.

Honestly, the Mangala == clean sheet team i am firmly on.

Hope Vinny is standing on the sidelines wearing his dashing looking shirts for another month.

Professional-ish job done, but didn't make me feel super, just...relieved for a minute.

Next.

cheers

The Silva injury seemed to really throw us, but would Pozo have offered us less than Dzeko for those last 10 mins? We wouldn't have had a striker, but would that have been an issue? The only benefit I could see in Dzeko was height for defending set pieces, in which case, put Boayata on and allow the full backs to push on.

I got the impression that he wasn't one bit interested and just strolled round. First out the door for me in the summer.

Cheeky fucker saw a player leave on a stretcher and walked on and hobbled off that was his contribution. He epitomises everything we all know is wrong at City. No Silva now and the half arsed wanker pulls a groin. Strange game, we will struggle in 3 games for me Villa, Spurs and Swansea.

Silva is ok. That's a big relief.

Navas I thought had a good first half but second half nearly gifted them a goal but for hart with a very poor backpass and when got through near end his ball across to nasri was very poor for me he should have backed himself but like last week at the swamp didn't seem to have the confidence in himself to finish the move. For me he remains a really frustrating player, capable of beating a man but doesn't so it often enough and but when I see his stats for assists this season it's hard to argue that he hasn't played well. One thing I would say is I dobt think any of us can question his work rate which has impressed since day one.
